Damn ya'll, it's okay to have some confidence in your team. If every team played each week exactly like they played the previous one there'd be no point watching after week 1.

If Romo plays even close to what we know he can do we'll drop 30+ on these schmucks.

We are not losing to the Titans.

Lmaoo...
First off, I didn't even know they had enough fans to create a message board. These guys really think they're heading to Arizona in Feb. I know we played bad, but the Titans is a perfect bounce back game. Their defense sucks! Dez will go off even if he only had one arm against that terrible secondary. They think Jake is all of a sudden an elite quarterback. It's a very comical over there.

Nevertheless, enjoy... http://www.gotitans.com/threads/week-2-predict-the-score-vs-dallas.92346/

My Prediction:
Dallas: 34
Ten: 17

Week one was a fluke for both teams!!!

You are just the same as every Titans fan with a 2 touchdown winning prediction and this one arm stuff. Fact is this is the most important game this year and if the Cowboys can grind out a win it will be just what the good doctor ordered. The time is now to find a way to win the trenches the clock and the turnover battle. Scandrick being anywhere near the field will lift the hearts of every single player on this team. Cowboys need to be focussed all 4 quarters.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not but that board was just smack. Dumb smack.

Not all team talk is dumb smack. I know that you are well aware of the deep pride that many fans still carry for the Landry Era and the Dynasty Period in the early 90's.

Pride that embraces a similar spirit, is called - good sportsmanship as well. Even if the youth involved don't know the integrity of respect, and not just pure insult. Some of even that, although, is good natured and also socially redemptive as well.

Myself, I just won't put down another team's pride, as that was what built the Cowboys when they were only allowed to play, to keep another league out of a city. They were given nothing to build upon, and told to build financial stability from thin air.

But that is the basis of pride, and I won't knock the grass roots of that in another team...

A bunch of buffoons over there, almost as bad as Eagle fans.
Well, in 2004 as i first encountered a Cowboys message board, things were much different. I will say that. This group has been refined into the well spoken, educated well rounded group we have become.;) Give them some time. They are still in the ESPN days...

Go over there & look at that board if you get a chance.

The Titans are heavily underrrated. Their O-line is sick. Probably better than ours without such a bright future. And defense is very underrated. Their defense almost got them to the playoffs last year with an injured Locker. If Locker could live up to his hype (projected to be the #1 overall pick before staying for his senior year) the Titans could be the surprise team this year. Every year has a surprise team. I saw KC and Carolina coming. This year I see Tennessee.

Most realistic non Cowboys homer post I have seen in this thread thus far.

Oh, I understand what you are saying here. Back in the 'star war' years on the net, they were equally warped, but fully nasty as well. Understood...just pointing towards something really neat as to team loyalties.

When I came up in High School, people from my area here in South Texas, were making it into the NFL and doing well also. Our district in sports, had state representatives in baseball, football, and basketball. We competed. When our age group hit college, we had players on National Championship teams...and those went into the NFL with five of my teammates at A&I making Pro Bowls during their professional careers.

We expected success, and were fully supported to do just that...and we did.

If you watched the Chiefs game, they beat them pretty soundly. It is clear at least from one game, that Whisenhunt has changed the culture. The offense is a lot more dynamic. Justin Hunter looks poised to be a breakout WR, and Ray Horton is doing what he has done everywhere he has gone and that is field a tough, smart multiple defense. Even Locker looked very comfortable.

Speaking of Favre... I had lunch with him yesterday... Well, I was eating at a restaurant at the same time he was. So yeah, we kind of had lunch together yesterday.

I liked that guy till he pulled all that stuff with that Jet beauty. His wife being sick & all just made me SMH.

I'll forgive him one day...not like he needs it or anything. :p

This thread reminds me of the thread last year about how bad we were going to beat the Chiefs

I had a similar experience in Dallas, back when Bob Lilly was still attached to the Cowboys.

More recently, I got an autographed t-shirt of his on my bedroom wall, and he took pictures with members of my family, here in Corpus. He was extremely humbling and friendly.
