Trading for a RB at trade deadline is a luxury, especially with greater needs on a team trying to contend for a ring this season. The true need for this team right NOW, and next season, is a pass rusher.

what aer you guys talking about, dont you know we get the man, the legend, the hall of famer, teh only guy to run with one leg and no eyes because hes that awesome, DUNBAR. dont worrry if Murray goes down they are saving up Dunbar to impress anyone, someone, someone who doesnt understand the position, but make no mistake, someone somewhere, somehow will be throughly impressed wiht Dunbar. We dont need a RB, we got the man himself.

Dallas is setting the league example in how to win games playing smash mouth running football. Any RB the cowboys show interest in automatically goes up in value to their current franchise just by peeking Dallas' interest.

I really think it would be smart to trade a mid-round 2015 pick for a RB this year. We can win now, and need a contingency for the RB position I believe.

What about Mark Ingram or someone along those lines?

Ingram was actually suggested in this article: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...des-wed-love-to-see-before-nfl-trade-deadline

Who else would you consider?

Don't think he's available.

If you saw the Saints game Sunday night..

he played like Murray.

The Saints need him.

It was nice to see Ingram finally get a solid opportunity and make the most of it.

That said, he's not being traded and we wouldn't be interested anyway.

But, maybe next year if things can't be worked out with Murray...

Unless Mark Ingram is going to come in and take Nick Hayden's job, or Kyle Wilber, then this is just fodder for clicks.

Ingram still sucks...right? Lololol

He looks really really good and really really underused.

I doubt we could ever get him here to be a backup. He needs an opportunity as a starter in a run heavy offense and he will take off.

He's quick, elusive, strong, and has good vision. Basically a really good all around back. We'd be lucky to have that guy.

Watching Ingram last night against the Packers sealed the deal for New Orleans, he won't be available to any team.

Well, he needs to put them together the rest of the year but I think you're right.

I'm for drafting Gurley. I think we can build the defense with the rest of the draft. Ingram would be interesting. But if I'm for not resigning Murray then I have to be against this trade. Plus I have hope that the way Ryan Williams ran during the preseason that he will be called up and fill the void and be the second back behind Murray.

Which is why I started this post prior to that game. He has the tangibles. But this thread is filled with "ya he was supposed to break out last year" and "he's a bust".

If they ever make a trade before the deadline it better not be for a RB. It better be for a position on the defensive side of the ball.

And pre-injury he was already looking like the light had gone on this year.

Mark Ingram fits well with the saints because of the type of offense they run and was a big part of the reason why they werent as productive when he was injured. I don't see them wanting to trade him, if they trade anyone it would probably be Thomas.
