I'm pretty happy at 6-2 at the halfway point

I'm pretty happy at 6-2 at the halfway point. The O has come together nicely, they are still very young at a lot of key positions ... need to expect a game like that every once in a while.

The D has played way better than I ever thought they would ... Lawrence will be back Sunday and hopefully he gives us a pass rush. The D still needs some serious attention in the offseason. I just don't think we got enough depth at the moment.

Just my random thoughts, 6-2 I'll take it ... if we can at least be 7-3 at the break then I think we'll make the playoffs.

The Arizona game will be tough but a win will erase any bad feelings from last night's loss. Arizona is a more talented team than Washington, and ironically blitz more than what the Boys saw last night.

6-2 is much better than I thought they would be at this point.

On the other hand, 6-2 knocks them out of the 1st-round bye and puts them into the wild-card weekend.

They need to win the division. I suspect at least one 10-6+ team will not make the playoffs this season.

I'm not upset about 6-2 at all.

If you'd said before the season we'd be 6-2 at the half way point I'd have taken it without hesitation.

It only sucks because I know we could have gotten that game last night and we just played really poorly.

It happens. It sucks. I hate it but I'll take 6-2.

Now what I'd really love is 8-2 into the bye and 9-2 into the first Philly game.

last night was the team all year I was expecting, the can't rush the passer, they can't cover, and LB can't tackle.

Don't think about how it happened. But how many of us had the Cowboys starting 6-2?

I could taste 7-1. Hell, I could taste 9-1. But it all seemed too good to be true and I guess it was. We needed to take advantage of 3 home games in a row, but we blew it in front of a home crowd that was finally ready to embrace the team loudly and vigorously. We missed a golden opportunity to win a division game at home against a 3rd string quarterback. Inexcusable. Yes, 6-2 is better than predicted but these types of performances can come back to haunt you. In a couple of days I'll be gung ho again. Right now I'm still heartbroken and pissed.

Sorry to rain on your parade @lukin1966 .:(

Were right there to win the nfce or wild card. 11 wins will almost guarantee a playoff spot. This is going to be a crazy end to the season for the nfc.

i will only be happy with 6-2 if we are 8-2 in 2 weeks. that was the goal since post-seattle, 8-2 by the bye.

every team we've played has blitzed us. up untill last night we have done a good job of defending it, last night we did'nt. against AZ we will have to get that fixed and i suspect thyey do. the skins played a very good game. their cbs stuck to our recievers and their blitz seem to always find home.

I'm with ya bud. 6-2 is wonderful!!! I won't let one bad game alter my confidence moving forward. Let's show SF and Philly how to beat Arizona. I know our boys will be ready to bounce back after last night.

If we win this weekend and against Jacksonville, last night's game will be a distant memory.

8-2 would have me through the roof!!! Time to hunt for some birds, jaguars and Giants!!

lol those teams are not birds. Eagles Falcons Ravens are. But if you are referring to the Cardinals then the Jags and Giants the Cowboys could be 9-2 if that is what you mean.

We took a butt kicking, could not block the blitz, lost our QB and Durant, and still hung around for a close overtime loss. I'd say our team has heart. We were not ready last night but we will be next game. It happens.

I hate losing to Washington (especially at home) and I hate the fact that we were so close to winning it despite playing an atrocious game. Still, I have to remind myself that we're 6-2 in a wide-open NFC where there's no clear frontrunner. Our defense is overachieving and even though the pass rush is frustrating, it was always going to be this season.

We've still received more breaks than we're used to from the comeback against the Rams to Williams catch against Seattle. We're a good team, not a great team.

Let's just hope good can be good enough.
