Checked the forecast for green bay on Sunday...18 is the high. Advantage for Green Bay for sure. Let's hope Dallas is doing everything they can to be not only prepared for the game, but the weather as well. Gonna be the first game this cold for them in a long long time

Break out the sun screen, lol Cowboys will be fine. GB practice inside they are not out in the cold practicing and Rodgers from Cal is not any better than anyone else in dealing with cold temps. Hell Romo and Martin are from Wis and many of our players went to school in colder regions. This game is all about execution

I want it to be subzero and snowing. Haha, I don't think anyone gets "used" to weather that cold, it sounds like a made up myth to me. Those guys have heaters and blowers and hotpacks and full down trenches. A couple days and you're as "used to it" as you can get maybe.

I happen to think our team is built way better than theirs on Offense for an Ice Bowl II.

I don't see this as that much of an advantage to GB if any. Unless the wind is not blowing, I think both teams will be fine. The concern I have is that this "cold" weather gets in our head and they over dress which makes it harder to run/change direction. Romo grew up in this weather. Hope coaches downplay the weather and focus on the game plan.
Would be cool if Garrett dug up a few of those players who played in the ice bowl (Lilly/Pugh) if their still mentally healthy enough and had them speak to the team before they go. Give it a historical perspective for the players ( like the Landry Shift).

18 degrees will be way warmer than the -15 degrees at kickoff of the '67 Ice Bowl...

I remember some years back how Texas was going through a heat wave of sorts, it was Hot even for Texas, towards the start of the season.

The eagles were going to come to play at texas stadium and everyone was saying how the Cowboys would have the advantage because they had been working out in Texas and the Eagles would be the ones to struggle...well that turned out to be the direct opposite as many cowboys players were having trouble and the eagles won the game easily because they prepared.

This whole thing about weather normally makes no difference at all...especially in the playoffs this time of year because more often than not there will be some games in the cold.

The weather is not the area we should be thinking about....we need think about Our Defense going against their Offense and Our offense against their Defense.

Sunny around 15 degrees will have no effect on the game if there isn't much wind. Pretty much perfect football weather.

Well the temps won't be low enough for an Ice Bowl II, but I do still think that you can get 'used' to cold weather. It just feels less cold if you are in it everyday, when I'm outside working, a sudden change in temp affects me alot more than if its been cold for a while.

Now we do have guys on the team that were raised in it, Romo, Martin, and TFred come to mind. I don't think it will be a problem but we better be prepared for it, even if we have to go up there early.

How exactly do you prepare for those conditions during your work week in Texas?

The extreme conditions up there has a lot to do with how tough they are to beat at home.

GB does not practice outdoors they practice in an inside facility, they are no more use to cold weather, much of the season the temps are great.

I think we will be fine unless Bob Hayes is playing in late 60's equipment. I would rather play them there than in a dome. It's gonna be tough because of the guys on the other side of the ball not because of the weather.
