GREEN BAY – As expected, Terrell McClain will sit out of Sunday’s playoff clash against the Packers. After evaluating his ankle injury all week, the Cowboys opted to sign rookie defensive tackle Ken Bishop from their practice squad, and they have made McClain inactive for the game.

McClain leads the list of inactives, which also includes Dustin Vaughan, Keith Smith, James Anderson, Doug Free, Donald Hawkins and Kenneth Boatright.

The decision to sit both Smith and Anderson bodes well for the health of the Cowboys’ linebackers. Anthony Hitchens and Rolando Mcclain have been limited by injury all week leading up to the game – Hitchens is still dealing with his ankle injury, while McClain suffered a concussion against the Lions.

McClain was cleared to play on Thursday, and he practice Friday. Hitchens did not practice at all this week, following the same routine as he did before the Lions game.

With Free once again sitting out, Jermey Parnell will start his seventh game at right tackle. Free suffered a foot fracture Oct. 12 against Seattle, opening the door for Parnell to start three games. After returning to the lineup Nov. 23, Free injured his ankle in the Week 15 win against Philadelphia. Parnell has started every game since.

Tony Hills will serve as the active backup at tackle for both Parnell and Tyron Smith.

With Terrell McClain sitting out, look for Bishop to work in rotation with the Cowboys’ other trio of defensive tackles,Tyrone Crawford, Nick Hayden and Josh Brent.

Didn't see this posted so thought I'd just put it here. Anxious to see what a healthy Bishop can add to that rotation.

Greetings my Brothers & Sisters. Time to get this show on the road. I'm about to go mad dog crazy. I can only imagine what the Cowboys are feeling right now. Flip those lids around and let's get ready to bust them in the mouth!

I guarantee Joe Buck / Troy Aikman have a pair of massive electric heaters sitting in front of them.

Ugh. We're going to have to listen to Joe Buck salivating over Rodgers for three hours.

It's 24 degrees that's freezing to me but you couldn't ask for better conditions this time of year at Green Bay.
