I would take richardson on a minimum deal. I bet he would jump at the chance behind this line. And then grab Spiller as a change of pace back at a modest price (although honestly I would like to see Dunbar get his play increased).

I would definitely look at him. He and Ingram were the backs in college, and you could see how much more powerful a runner Richardson was. He was so good in high school and college. Saban would do anything he could to help Richardson get on track. He did that for Rolondo. JG should definitely talk to Saban.

Not at all. That wouldn't be a bad signing...

Edit: Just specifying, he and I were talking about Ray Rice. Richardson deserves zero looks. He will not make it in the NFL and wouldn't warrant a roster spot for free.

I just don't know why not...even though his growth has stunted, he's as solid a #2 as they come...not sure you can say that about Randall and Dunbar.

Sure, but the fact that Richardson is terrible at hitting open holes remains unchanged. He's a terrible RB and a bust, I don't see why anyone would want him. Give me Ryan Williams, Dunbar, Randle, AP, or any drafted RB over him any day of the week.
