There went all my optimism for this offseason. What a horrible signing. The Raiders had some of the worst running in the history of the game last season. And I don't think you can blame it on their line considering Latavius Murray looked pretty strong once they gave him the ball instead of McFadden.

Behind this Oline and a healthy Romo, perhaps his career will be resurrected. Just hope it wasn't a pricey contract.

All joking aside, I like the money in the deal (little to no impact on our cap) and know they're only bringing him to potentially do what Randle was doing. 10 or so carries a game. They're drafting a RB and I hope to god its Gurley.

The risk I see is the team thinking they've accomplished something or that they're any better off than they were last night, because they're not.

And now they're likely out of the business of getting a CJ Spiller or Stevan Ridley, and that in and of itself is a 'risk'.

Wow so much 'I know I'm right' in this. So would be better off than we were last night with Spiller or Ridley? Those are two risks.

Makes sense except, Randle didn't die. He's still on our team and I'd rate him higher than McFadden.

Plenty of available options? Not sure about that.

Spiller and Ridley are ok. Ridley is coming off of an ACL and MCL. That scares me especially if you are going to go after Gurley too. Spiller is also coming off of injuries.

Spiller and Ridley's 'OK' are better than McFadden's, and a lot more recent. McFadden hasn't averaged over 4 yards a carry since 2011!

And Spiller isn't a prover loser? I'm not sure why you categorize McFadden as a proven loser. Is it his fault the Raiders suck?

It's his fault that he did nothing - in 7 years! - to help them to be any better! After all, that's why they drafted him. For the record, Spiller averages nearly 1 yard better per carry than McFadden and he's not 5 years removed from his last 1,000 yard season either.

And some people like you will criticize every move the Cowboys make. Dude you are never happy about anything and you are often wrong about many things which I'm so happy to call you out on and will continue to do.

Oh, please do! I hope you can find the time while your propping up and praising everything the Cowboys do. Some fans think it's an obligation to go along with everything their favorite team does. Others think for themselves.

What's funny is they gave Williams a $240,000 signing bonus. $40,000 more than McFadden and he was on the PS.

Better 'risks' than a proven failure.

7 years in the league, we know what this guy is - and what he isn't.

I don't have a problem with this at all... if he stays healthy he could be a steal

Good signing.

Listen, he gives us depth. If we draft a guy like Gurley, he'll keep the seat warm until Gurley is ready. It's a cheap move. I really don't know why folks are all up in arms about this.
