That'd be it................thanks my man.

However I think if one searched republic.com........it'd take ya there.

Actually, that domain is a UK clothing retailer, which is why I was confused.

I'm actually considering trying that MotoX on the $5 wifi plan for a month or two. The wife wants to upgrade the whole family's phones for Christmas, and I both hate AT&T so much and can't stand the way both AT&T and Verizon structure their rate plans. If the battery life is not stupid-bad, this might be a great solution.

sure do. $30 for indoor antenna for free HDTV network channels. $7.99 month for netflix. $8 month for amazon prime. $66 month for internet via comcast. That "bundle" cost me $984 year. I used to pay $2,700 year for triple play. Here is the kicker...we watch more tv now.
What channels are in the free range?

In total I get about 50 free channels. Includes all network channels and Fox plus lots more I never watch. The major network channels are in true HD. Also, my local gym carries cable tv on each treadmill/exercise bike so if there is something I absolutely have to see on lets say ESPN or Comcast Sports I will just head to gym and exercise while watching. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our arrangement.

Check out Cricket. It is owned by ATT and uses their towers. I pay $35/line and you can use your old ATT phone.

Even cheaper for me, yeah. I'll check it out now.

I travel all over the US, and the only place my phone hasn't worked is at the Lajitas Golf resort in the arm pit of Texas. Otherwise, work good, last long time.

I pay $33.84 a month from Solavei, which runs on the T-Mobile network for unlimited voice and txt. No need for data plan, I just use free wifi everywhere I go.

Finally considering biting the bullet and getting a smartphone (iPhone, Android, etc). Feeling like I'm the only one that doesn't have one.

Right now I'm paying 64 bucks a month for 1000 texts and no data.

How much do you all pay? Trying to figure out how this cost will project over the long term.

if you're not overly picky about the phone cost itself, or are ok with a "lesser model phone" (i just ordered a G2 and can't wait!) then metroPCS is something to look at also. unlimited data, txt and phone for around $50 a month. i had them for awhile and the only real annoying thing was that you were subject to a bit more ads, but i found a way to stop that too.

T-mobile no contract with jump..Unlimited talk, text, data for $115/mo. $25 is for IPhone 6. I'm gonna try to pay it off and not upgrade which will make it $90/mo. Got grandfathered in on the unlimited data at cheaper price. Or at least that's what I was told..

Nobody has Boost? I pay $35 a month for unlimited everything. The plan is $50 per month and if you make 6 payments on time it drops to $45, 6 more payments on time it drops to $40 and then 6 more on time payments it drops to $35 per month. Boost runs on the Sprint network. No contract so you buy your own phone. You can get cheap phones or nice phones like the Samsung or IPhone. I just paid $549 for a new IPhone 6.

Boost is not like crappy MetroPCS. Ive never had any coverage issues or data issues

I cannot believe what some of you are paying . . . . . . . . . . pissing $$$$$ away

Sprint only allows certain phones to be used on their resold networks. Check the list before buying one.
