Chris Squire, the bassist and co-founder of veteran prog rock troupe Yes, died on Saturday, June 27, after battling a rare form of leukemia. He was 67.

All the greats are dying and before long all we will left with is Taylor Swift and Kanye, then you will truly know that music as an art form is going/gone down the tubes.

I'm a huge prog rock fan and these guys were one of the forefathers and Chris Squire was something else.

Best bass player ever, IMO. Saw him in concert five times. Never disappointed.

Yes is my favorite band going back to the early 70s. Chris would just take it to a another level as he captivated the crowd. I've seen them over 40 times and they never disappointed. Even though I'm a drummer I loved his style and John Entwistle,sadly both are now gone.
