It's always good to see our fans not quite ready to give up in week three. When leading the division.

If you're forcing me to look on the bright side, then I would say the positives are that the offense did put up 28 points, and though our defense looked horrible, reinforcements are coming much sooner to aid the defense than they are for the offense. You would think that if we could average 28 points per game with Weeden as QB, then we'd win more than a couple of those games... I know, I'm kinda grasping for straws here...

It is going to be horribly horrific watching this team against the patriots in a few weeks.

I don't care about that. They have to win the winnable games. This was one failure to do so. The Saints are the next challenge. If that happens, being drawn and quartered by New England will not bother me all that much. They look like a team on a mission right now.

That's good, don't leap help is around the corner !!!!:)

Like someone up above said, Its not about giving up, its about hanging on. If we can manage to stay around .500 for the next 6 games, get pple back and gel again. We can win the division. Thankfully our division sucks. Use this time to make the Oline solid, Develop Dunbar as a receiver and have pple learn thier roles, Once Romo and Dez gets back, the injured and suspended from the D should be back and ready to role, we can go on a winning spree right into the playoffs. Just get used to some ugly ball in the mean time. Remember, there may be pain in the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Yes. Hanging on is more accurate :)

I hope we come out pissed and just steam roll the saints with both lines.

Listen I love the enthusiasm. We were all excited about this promising season. I think people need to keep it in perspective though. Cowboys need to beat the Saints if there is any hope.

If this were a somewhat normal year I would agree with your curtness. If this were a normal year. I wouldn't have given a second thought about a loss in week 3 after winning the first 2 games. Obviously. This is far from a normal year.

Cant say I am surprised after the loss.

We arent the same team as we were last year. We have a different identity and different offensive game plan.

We have had injuries to key spots. But, if Romo was playing we wouldve won that game. He wouldve kept Julio off the field. The defense wouldnt have had to be on the field so long....... But Romo is hurt......We didnt succeed in protecting T Romo this year.

Having said all that, one or two plays in that second half and maybe we win.....?

We werent going to win them all. Even with all of our guys playing. However, I am seriously concerned about winning 3 of the next 7. That might be asking to much. I am also concerned about when Romo will be ready. It may be more like 8 or 9 games he misses......

And this season could fall apart real quick, if we dont win that Saints game. Becuase after that its going to get tough....Pats, Ginats, Seahwaks, Eagles, Bucs, Panthers, Dolphins.....

We could be looking at 3-9, 4-8, when Romo finally makes it back. Thats a very real possiblity......

Luckly we get Hardy and Ro back after next week. And Gregory a week or two after that. That should help. If they were playing today, I don't think we get gashed like we did today.

I don't think we can beat NE or Seattle even with them but I think we can beat the Gints ,EaGirls and TB with them playing at full strength.

If we lose to NO and beat the Gints, EaGirls and TB, that should put us at 5-4 when Romo and Dez returns. We can make a run and win 5 out of 7 remaining games and I think 10-6 can win this division.

Why not Seattle? Seattle might be one of the simplest offenses we face all year and most of their points is based on trickery, special teams , and defense.

If the Cowboys can play good on ST, contain Wilson, and every possession end with a kick, Seattle won't score more than 28 points.
