Todd Archer reported "JJT said "he never used that word and those who were close to the episode, including club officials, said the word was never used".

Never mind, I'm sure Todd Archer is part of the anti-Dez global conspiracy as well.

Yeah JTT SAID it. Of course he's gonna deny it. He's not gonna admit to being an unprofessional, classless ******* reporter like he is.

Why is Dez upset? He's freaking out over nothing. So stupid.

I'm not sure we can even be mad at Dez.

It sounds like Street fabricated the whole thing. Dez was just going off of what Dez told him maybe.

If I was the club, I'd be furious at Street.

People accused of using the n-Word are in danger of having their careers ended just by the accusation.

Where's the motivation for Street to fabricate something like that? Why would he do that and knowingly get Dez upset?

So Dez was already upset and yelling about the media and Street went ahead and told him JJT said a racial slur? If I understood that correctly Street is the biggest idiot ever stirring the pot knowing Dez was already angry at JJT. If Dez knows that the local media just wants a story why is he going off and giving them one? I get all the players are frustrated but Dez needs to get it together. This isn't his first year in Dallas he should know better then to feed the media.

Honestly, if Street lied about JJT using the n-word, he should be cut.

Sigh, who really cares.........

Frustrations mount, tensions rise, etc, etc. It seems as if it were just a misunderstanding and just the trigger to set Dez off from impending explosion.

I don't believe for a second that the word was used, especially derogatorily. Street may have thought he heard it, who knows but Dez was a ticking time-bomb in regards to JJT.

This will blow over as soon as the media refocuses their attention on the Kraken!

The team is 2-6 and it's really painful to have to talk to reports about loss after loss after loss.

It's very common for teams in this scenario to point at reasons outside of the locker room (ie the media) as the driver for the losses.

Just spitballing here.

Garrett should cut Street today just to make a point.

Garret himself should get fired, he's a hack that has lost this team. Not a very good coach at all, Romo basically polishes the turds around these parts.

What is the motivation for a black reporter to use that word on a bottom of the roster guy like Street?

I'm shocked reporters even spend one iota of their time on a player like street.

Why would someone risk their entire career by using that word on somebody has meaningless as Street?

It makes zero sense.

JJT is an incompetent hack. I don't even care what was said. If Dez wants to read him the riot act, he can go ahead and do it.

And this line, from Florio, highlights everything that's wrong with sports coverage in general: "It’s also unclear why he’d think a team that had lost six straight games would deserve to not be disrespected." I wonder who the hell these idiots think they are covering NFL teams.

Exactly, it's not whether Dez was called a racial slur or not. I think Dez has every right to blow up on the media, honestly I think it's long overdue. I think the "sideline altercation" that the media twisted horrendously really left a bitter taste in his mouth (towards the media), and rightfully so. Sure Dez can be immature, and at times does need to tone it down. But ever since Dez has got to Dallas the media has been out to get Dez, and I don't want to hear how he's brought this upon himself because that's not entirely accurate.

At the end of the day ive seen a similar situation being in Toronto and having a serious issue with the media here as well. Last season Phil Kessel went off on reporters for their treatment of Dion Phaneuf. Im wondering if maybe Dez is just tired of the medias treatment of him, and maybe hes mad at how the media is treating Hardy, factor in 6 straight losses and an idiot like Street stirring the pot and its a recipe for disaster.

There does not have to be motivation if he used it in a certain way.

Let's be honest, who gets the brunt of criticism around here? Bottom of the roster. Nick Hayden is a prime example. It is an easy target. Why would the media be different? Are they going to go after Jason Witten?

And let's be honest here as well, Devin Street has failed to step up and get called out.

Bryant could be standing up for a teammate and/or friend. I don't even know what his relationship is with Street, but if it is close, that could be what ignited this.

And do we really understand that Bryant was upset by the epitath? I have not read enough to feel comfortable understanding that.

The turd polishing is done well over his head.

If anything, he is the one who breathes on the turd and rubs it with his sleeve to get a nice glowing shine.

Just like the Hardy case, I doubt any of you know what actually went on and you have already picked sides.

JG will spend more time chasing the clean-up of this matter and Sunday will have JWinston looking like he's headed to the Pro Bowl. (then Dez will be called the distractor by media).

Show the team something once regarding "all in" JG to make the guys willing to run through a brick wall or you. As Dez said to Rich...."Fix this, you talking to the wrong guys."

Long overdue? He just blew up at the media after the previous loss to the Seahawks.

The 2 game trend is that Dez blows up at the media after every loss.

Prediction: After their careers, Romo will have almost nothing to do with Dez. This won't be an Aikman-Irvin bond.

Well, he already has a BFF in Witten. Those two should just consummate their bromance in marriage.

Call me crazy, that bond is probably what drove Owens insane.
