Looking for a pair of headphones to sync with phone, listen to Amazon Prime music, pandora, radio, etc. Doesn't need to be top of the line but a solid product. Looking to purchase it as a gift.

Anyone have any experience or expertise in this realm? If so, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have the new Bose SoundLink headphones and I really like them. They're pricey at $279 but they're very comfortable, sound great, and the battery for the Bluetooth lasts a long time.

love sennheiser but their wireless is pricey.

jbl has a Bluetooth set I use ast work for around $60. you can get a tank of logitechs wireless if size is not a problem and you'll love em.

LG has some for around $50

if you're talking what i think you are, those are really good for the $. the ones i usually look at are usually ear covering ones cause i don't like to stick things in my ear like the buds. if i can get the ones that wrap around my ear i'm happier but these days i really only use them on the plane so i use a cord and just deal with it. every attempt at the portable headphones just fits my head funny and never stay put and all suck when compared to airplane noise volumes.

sennheiser doesn't make many portable bluetooth ones but i found some discontinued for around $50 on amazon.

I like the earbuds that go straight into your ear...did not like the ones that were bulb like for lack of a better description or the newer iphone type.

My wife got me a cheap pair of wireless ones last year. Definaltly not the best quality and the battery life is only 5-6 hours but all it is the ear buds on each end and the wire in the middle with one section to charge and volume...but no plastic housing for the wires so it is really lite and you don't even notice it.

Cheap Cheap Cheap but most of the time I use the plug in ones that came with my samsung SIII (never got any with my note 4)

I don't really like full size over the ear headphones as they tend to make my ears sweat...if that makes sense.

Plus for me it is not worth paying for high end earphones. I don't do DJ work like you and I am not in a recording studio for my guitar playing. I just listen to pod casts or MP3s from my phone and since most MP3s are not as good as quality as we normally had on a CD...not much difference to me and I just can't see myself paying some large amount of money for headphones.

I have a pair for when I play guitar but they bother me after a while do to them making my ears feel to hot.

The wife is looking at getting the LGs and said she would get me a pair this year for christmas but I told her I don't need them, I am ok with what I got and just get me some google play cards in place of it as my account number is down to about $5.00.

Last year I had about $120.00 worth of google play credit and it lasted me until now so I should be ok.

even i don't *need* the ones i get for home. i've also stopped my drunken buying spree for some reason. well, a lot of it. :) i like ear covering on the headphones and a $60 pair of corded sonys worked well on the plane to NYC a few weeks ago. cheap noise cancelling but i could hear the difference so that was good. now trying to rest with regular headphones on sucks, not gonna lie. but for just something cheap, i'll get a pair that wraps around your ear and cost around $30 - sennheiser does make one like this that is fine for travel. i've given up on the wireless for now for this purpose anyway.

They have plenty of different colors to choose from, but these are great bang for your buck. Music quality is pretty good. The phone call options are nice. I have mine with me at all times. It also has the added benefit of being able to still be aware of whats going on around you by having one earbud in and one out.

If you're looking in the higher price point and really only wanting to use it for music purposes look at the bose wireless headphones.

I'm completely on board with this. I hate those bulb ones, but the ones that fit in your ear that aren't the bulbs are what I prefer. The one Apple product I really liked was their original headphones. The new ones suck something fierce.

I don't really like full size over the ear headphones as they tend to make my ears sweat...if that makes sense.

No this does make sense, but not all over the ear headphones are the same. I had that same problem, but when I get a good set. I love them. I use over the ear headphones with my guitar and with my home computer headset that I use for VoIP / TeamSpeak, etc.

Plus for me it is not worth paying for high end earphones. I don't do DJ work like you and I am not in a recording studio for my guitar playing. I don't spend all that much on my headphones either. I would never pay $300 like people do for those Beats headphones which are garbage anyhow. This is what I currently have on my PC and they were less than $40.

My guitar headphones are music headphones not gaming ones. They are good quality, but I still paid less than probably $60 for them. I don't recall exactly what they are. I've had them for quite some time. I will have to double check when I get home.

I bought these Jabras on sale in Jan, 2014. They've worked well. Sound rich to my ears, and even work better for phone than a single earpiece headset I bought w/ a boom-mic, meant only for phone use.

I had a pair of these. The sound was very good but the wireless connection to the phone was horrible. I finally had to return them. Do you have that problem?

Thats never been a problem for me as long as I stayed in range of my phone. It has probably 30-40 feet before I lose reception.

Thanks. I must have gotten a dud then. As I said, sound was very good but the range was only a foot or so. I might have to give them another chance.
