Honestly, I'd be fine with a playoff berth in lieu of drafting the next Mo Claiborne.

Me to. I have been confident about our drafts the last few years till this point. I just don't see Jerry calling a career for Romo. And that should be top of the board at this point.

I hope the Eagles/Giants/Commanders all win out and Cowboys continue to lose, they'll finish with a draft pick around 12-18 while we'll finish with a top 3 pick. And neither team will win a super bowl this year, so draft pick is all that matters, right ?

Giants are the only team in our division realistically able to make noise in the playoffs, thus I hope the Commanders win the East.

Giants remaining schedule 2-3, 7-9 (8-8 at best if they luck out a win over Jets):
L - Jets
W- Dolphins
L - Panthers
L - Vikings
W - Eagles

Commanders remaining schedule 1-4, 6-10 (or if they pull out a win vs. Bears or Bills, 2-3, 7-9):
L - Cowboys
L - Bears
L - Bills
W - Eagles
L - Cowboys

Eagles remaining schedule 0-5, 4-12 (non-factor, even if they luck out 2 wins, they suck):
L - Patriots
L - Bills
L - Cardinals
L - Commanders
L - Giants

Cowboys remaining schedule 4-1 (possibly 5-0), 7-9 / 8-8:
W - Commanders
L - Packers (possibly W, as they are on a 1-4 kick)
W - Jets -
W - Bills
W - Commanders

7-9 tie = we win (with 4-2 division record),
or 8-8 tie = we win (with 4-2 division record)
or 8-8 = win outright

This outcome is VERY feasible and is exactly what Sean Lee and the players are thinking right now.

NEVER Give Up!!

laughably to think we can beat the jets, sweep the skins, and beat buffalo at their place in December. 0% chance with Tony at QB, and you think this is possible with Cassell?lolol

actually, in all seriousness. I think we win one more. Maybe 2 if were lucky.

Wash will beat us once.
Jets/Bills/Packers, all beat us. easily.

12-4 to 4-12.

The only one I'd give us a chance with would be Washington because it is a rival game. The year we were 1-15 that's the team we beat.

Yea but dont you think for the future of the team, it would be more beneficial to lose out? Its rare that a 12-4 SB contending team is in play for a top 5 pick the next season. We have a great opportunity to draft Romos successor or a blue chip talent that can give the offense/defense a lift.

Yes, it would be much better for the future of this team especially given Romo's health. Otherwise we're another late hit away from a repeat of this year. We've proven that we can't win without him currently and next year will be no different.

Because you never give up.
Other teams went on to win with back up QBs, even though fans did not give them a chance to do so.

Miami got to the SB with a backup, Washington won with a backup, twice I believe, Giants won with a backup

This mentality is just idiotic and completely lacks any sort of foresight as to what's best for this team going forward.

Yeah, let's go piss away a top pick for us to get nowhere. Sounds like a great plan.

Lol if we won the division. Id be so happy, I'd laugh so hard at the rivals. We suck cuz romo isn't playing, all those teams suck just because there not talented.. It's crazy...

I would laugh very hard at this. It's about as likely as Mila Kunis begging me for sex, however.

I don't think you ever tank on purpose. Having said that, I think we have vastly overrated the talent on this team and I don't believe we have 2 more wins in us without Romo. Many of us have said it for years that we are a 4-12 team maybe 6-10 without Romo.. Well now we will find out.

0-5 what's the benifit of going one and done in the playoffs. No superbowl win means the season is a bust.

The season would be a bust if they folded & didn't make the Playoffs as well. Not trying should NEVER be an option. A Higher draft pick doesn't automatically make your team better, as Draft picks can become BUSTS as well.

Here is a tip .. it's not where you pick .. it's what you do with your pick .. so #1, #100, #50 .. doesn't matter if you screw up the pick

Is there a chance that Romo could be back for the playoffs?

So you are calling me idiotic. Giving up is for losers...lets tank and get a better pick, that is idiotic. Tell your team to give up, what kind of winning message is that.

You play to win, if you lose, you get a better draft pick. If you win, you use that to build upon.

You can disagree with me all you want, but do it it a civil manner, saying things like saying it is idiotic gets you on my ignore list. I don't have time for that kind of crap.

I want us to win, period, but if we lose, I won't complain either.

There are bad teams who end up with high draft picks every year. They're still bad.
