The tie-breaker order is: 1) worst record, 2) worst strength of schedule, 3) worst conference record, 4) worst division record, 5) coin flip.

Strength of schedule takes into account the combined number of wins of every team they play the season (including teams they haven't played yet and counted twice if they play twice).

Here are the current standings:

1. Browns, record = 2 wins
2. Titans, record = 3 wins, strength = 95 wins
3. Chargers, record = 3 wins, strength = 100 wins
4. Jaguars, record = 4 wins, strength = 93 wins
5. Ravens, record = 4 wins, strength = 97 wins
6. Saints, record = 4 wins, strength = 100 wins, conference = 3 wins, division = 1 win
7. Cowboys, record = 4 wins, strength = 100 wins, conference = 3 wins, division = 3 wins
8. 49ers, record = 4 wins, strength = 101 wins, conference = 3 wins, division = 0 wins
9. Lions, record = 4 wins, strength = 101 wins, conference = 3 wins, division = 2 wins
10. Rams, record = 4 wins, strength = 101 wins, conference = 3 wins, division = 3 wins

What a waste. We'll be mid-teens by the time that it's done and after such an embarrassment of a season I guess that it's only fitting that we'll find a way to screw that up as well.

I know. Could you imagine winning 3 more games and winning the Division. That would suck.
Yeah, because we're not going to win the division. Luckily Green Bay is going to bring us back to reality but the damage will have already been done by that point.

...then why don't you just go root for a proven winner, such as Rhonda Rousey.

it cracks me up to see the top 5 teams on that list from the AFC...I thought all of the NFCE would be in the top 4

I can see 5 of the 6 teams. not including Cleveland, that have better draft position than us at this point winning at least 1 more game. I don't believe in tanking but I just don't think this team is good enough to win more than 1 more game this season.

Unless we score on defense or special teams our offense just does not produce enough points regardless of how close our defense is keeping us in these games.

Now if everyone is hoping to get first crack at QB in this draft the only team that would need the QB is the Cleveland browns and they are definitely going to pick #1 overall.

Unless SD or NWO is looking to draft the QB to groom behind Rivers or Brees there are no other teams looking QB because they have already drafted their franchise QB. Unless a team like the Rams gets in front of us.

Top 3 QB prospects are:

Paxton Lynch
Jared Goff
Connor Cook

I personally don't like any in the top 10. 1 will be picked top 10 surely, sounds like Lynch is the talk of this class with Goff a close 2nd.

If we could get Connor Cook in the early 2nd, late 1st, I would do back flips. 2-3 years of grooming this kid who can make all the throws and plays better in the big games behind a guy like Romo? I can go for it for an early 2nd, late 1st if we had to move up because we like him.

We're going to miss out on being able to draft Ramsey and that's really going to suck.

The not so funny thing is we could drop to 2nd pick in just 1 week.... just wow!

Glad to see you disappointed. I hope you are crying as well.

Wow! I guess all of these teams are tanking to get a better draft position right? How could we possibly win this tanking battle. We have a better chance of making the playoffs.

At the moment the only team picking before us likely to select a QB are the Browns (that is if they give up on Manziel which they should imo) so not too much damage done in that department.

Again, I pull for the Cowboys in every game, and anyone who was was actually mad about winning last night is just insane. Yes, I lament the fact that maybe it changes our draft position, but who knows by the end of the season...we could still be 5-6. I cannot watch and not pull for our guys...if we win, I'm happy. If we lose, I'm not really happy, but I focus on the benefit of the draft position.

If we make the playoffs, I'll totally enjoy playing another week with a chance to beat a wild card team...though I still don't anticipate that. After all, you guys did watch the offense last night, right?
