Which was the right call, in hindsight? Stick it out with Weeden, after his 0-3 start, or go with Cassell?

2nd question -- How many of you have a different answer now, than you did 2 months ago?

Given the complete inability of our defense to make game winning plays late in ball games, I'm not sure it would have made any difference.

With Mariota out, HOU's odds of winning & clinching just went way up.

Different circumstances, but if he plays and looks even half decent, it will make the DAL GM look silly. May not be so bad

Seeing how awful Cassel became, makes me wish we had stuck with Weeden instead.

Of course, that is seeing what we saw the other night and having the benefit of hindsight. Cassel just completely fell apart.

Not me - I know Cassel sucked but I could actually live with him. Weeden drove me crazy I hated him and everything about him.

Moore might not ever make it but he's got better body language, more poise and command of the huddle than either of those guys.

Thank god the last two games will be fun to watch.

What difference does it really make? Not like either were gonna take the team anywhere.

Its like asking would you rather drive a Pinto or a Gremlin in the Daytona 500. Its a neither nor, not an either or.

Hoyer is reportedly feeling better, so Weeden will likely be the backup vs Tenneesee.

Weeden was exactly as bad as I thought he would be, he stunk and we ran him out of here. Cassel was a huge disappointment but at least he threw down the field and gave it a shot.

It was the right decision to make at the time, it was at least worth trying something different even if it didn't work out.

You obviously didn't watch every game this season. Weeden had a 67-yard completion, nearly all in the air, with the Cowboys. Cassel couldn't throw the ball 67 yards if his life depended on it.

I was OK w/ the move when we made it. Weeden didn't really do anything wrong, but I figured if the coaches didn't have faith in him winning, why continue on w/ him.

In some ways, I think Weed-man gets more credit in hindsight for a really solid first half against ATL. He put up 28 that game, but also was completely useless in the second half.

13 dink-and-dunk points, and people think Weeden got better?

Weeden played ok yesterday. The defense won that game though. Hasselbeck was hurt & they kept hitting him. He got reckless. That was the difference.

At the time, I didn't begrudge the team for switching to Cassel. However, I didn't know a ton about Cassel. A quick evaluation of Cassel's recent history gives no indication he would be any kind of upgrade over Weeden, and he most definitely wasn't.

Hindsight is easy obviously, but it was definitely a mistake. Acquiring him, period, was a mistake. The guy is completely ineffective as an NFL quarterback.

I think with Weeden starting, and Moore as backup, we would've been poised to win at least 2 or 3 of the games Cassel lost, putting us in a much better position for Romo's return in November.

It wouldn't have mattered they both stunk and the only game we won with either was with the one we kept.

Frankly I saw Cassel regressing game after game.
Weeden won yesterday, for what is worth, maybe the game plan was for him in Dallas was to be out on the field on a check down frenzy.
I would not put it pass our coaching staff.
