Give me Bruce Carter. He was awsome for the cowboys in 2015. TB stupidly tried to turn him into a MIKE. But he is a SAM. He wouldnt be expensive at all. He was made to play SAM for this defense. Him McClain and Lee LB core would be really nice.

There is considerable distance between now and when he was a high draft pick out of Auburn.

He's got a reputation for being lazy and has been averaging less than a sack per season over the past two years. At age 28 its hard to imagine he is going to start upping that production in Dallas.

I don't want him in Dallas - I was making an observation that I was surprised he's still out there but maybe I shouldn't be. He's underperformed his entire career when really he and Suh should have been a cornerstone for a great defense in Detroit.

Bernadeau was allowed to leave in order to make room on this crowded deep OL for Green.

You mean last year? He was All Pro in 2014. So "every year since" is 2015.

Anyone have a opinion on the eraser Reggie Nelson? I haven't really watched him play in a few years but he's productive. 8 INT last year pops out for sure but don't know good he is. If I remember right he was a good athlete coming out of the draft with courage skills

FA is full of over priced talent the first week. Waiting till most teams are done splurging seems to result in getting more reasonably priced talent and like what has already been discussed, the quality is still out there.

No Hitchens is a better and younger LB than Carter.
