i figured that the other girl left and Arya just kept swinging.

something was off about the whole scene but I don't think it was a Fight Club situation....either Arya used herself as bait or Jaqen was protecting her....if you remember the scene with the waif and Jaqen at the end of Week 7 she says I and me, she doesn't say a girl, maybe she failed her training as well....

Tonight we'll get to see.. "I choose violence"...
We'll get to see what was "off" about the whole Arya scene...
And we get to see the love triangle that is Brienne, Jamie, and Tourmond!

I trust in the show runner's that the whole Arya thing will make sense.

Could it be the that the real Arya was stabbed, but not as bad and with a bag of fake blood? Was Jaken with Arya's face setting up a test for the waif (who failed by the gut stabbing and increasing suffering - against Jaken's order's).

Could it be that Arya is everyone at the same time and then takes on the name of Tyler Durden in order to blow up the bank of Braavos with wildfire?

It could just be the more plausible option that Arya just got stabbed, but gets rescued by the actress she chose not to poison. The only problem with that is that we've been shown Arya's character learning things all this time and she just acts stupid and gets stabbed. So much for Arya turning into a bad ***. But this option doesn't have as many easily poked holes in it.

It could even be Jaken who saves her, but is under the guise of an older "face" of his. Syrio Forel! (as goofy as it may be, I'm kinda hoping for that one)

The only part that I'm confident of is that the many faced god will have to settle for the waif as the promised death. I hope the real plot is cleaner than all the ones I listed.

gotta admit, I'm disappointed in the black fish. I get fighting for your home, but don't throw away your life when you have family out there who could use your help.

also, Arya Stark is going to kill Ramsey, I'm pretty sure of that.

So it was what it was and there all these awesome theories were for nothing.

Arya just got stupid all of a sudden and got herself stabbed.

I think the books will be much better about wrapping up this whole faceless man thing. I can't believe we set through all of the faceless men stuff for that.

It looks like she wanted to lure her back to her cave the whole time but underestimated the Terminator Waif

I knew she was wanted to fight her in the dark with Needle

ps- Hell yes to the Hound get some revenge

Yea, I just hope George RR doesn't pull a fast one on us and Jon+Sansa+Rickon get flayed outside of Winterfell. May be done with the show if that happens.

Naw I believe someone is going to jump in on this battle to help out the Starks

yea, I think he is stacking the deck against them in order to make their victory unexpected. No help from the Tully's. Very little help from the North. Good amount of Wildlings, but as we saw when Stannis arrived, they are no match for an actual army. Sansa did send a letter, most likely to the knights of the Vale, but that would certainly have a cost to it as well...

Little finger is the favorite to help out with the Knights of the Vale but the Umbers could turn on Ramsey.

I can't think of any other sleepers to help.

If the Umbers do, I would consider that extremely poor writing. They turned Rikon over to Ramsey, who could've killed/mutilated him on the spot. To be honest, Rikon could be dead now. Now if they never showed Rikon, you could argue that they sacrificed Shaggy Dog to make this plan work (at the time Jon hadn't even decided to march South to Winterfel) and they never turned over Rikon, but no plan that allies you with the Starks can include turning Rikon over to Ramsey.

Lots of stuff in this episode. As much as I hated Jaime for the window incident, over the years he's really grown on me. I thought the Jaime/Edmure scene was fantastic.

It seems incredibly unlikely that the Tullys are going to be aiding anyone. If the Blackfish had left with the men it would be a different story, but it just doesn't seem likely that they can re-arm and march noth of Winterfell. Seems even less likely that they would anyways. I think it comes down to the Vale and only the Vale as potential reinforcements.

The Red Keep stuff was truly annoying to me. I really, really dislike Tommen and how weak minded he is and how easily he's been manipulated. Things are not going to end well for him. His throne is nothing more than a facade. It will be the High Sparrow who Daenerys really has to wrestle the throne away from. I don't know if it ever gets to that point though. It seems more and more likely to me that the Mountain is going to end up taking things into his own hands. Literally.

What was the rumour Cersei was talking about? The guy asked if she remembered the rumour she wanted him to see if was just a rumour or something more and confirmed it was something more. Probably really obvious but I can't think what it was

The Blackfish escaped in the books.

Hmmmm

Arya is Arya
Makes sense that it was a rogue group from the Brotherhood without banners as they were not really bad guys. Now the Hound might join them.
No more Trial by Combat...you know that created a big frog in Cercie's throat.
Arya is going home...maybe Sansa gives her the name of Rasmey...instead of a man needs a name..maybe a girl needs a name
Kahleesi is back...not sure why she did not have her dragon destroy the ships in they bay before heading off.
Look for the Knights of the Vale to show up to save the day.
Wonder if Sansa made any promises to Littlefinger to get him to bring the knights of the vale after she belittled him (maybe marriage hmmm)
