I could go for that. Have it set in the US and he just travels from town to town helping people. Oh wait that has been done. lol

When I watch it I think of him being the teacher to Kung ** guy...except the teacher always had those odd eyes and you never see 100 eyes...eyes.

I used to. I haven't actually played in several months probably. I believe I'm SlaughterMachine. :) Of course, my kill death ratio is awful. I don't have the reaction speed I had in my twenties when I was actually still very good at FPS. These days, I stink something fierce at them.
I hear ya on the K/D ratio. Mine's about 0.57. My reaction time has slowed too but what gets me killed more often than not is tracking an opponent's movement when they're shooting at me. It sucks to get off the first couple of shots only to wind up dead in the end. :(

For pete's sake, keep me out of vehicles! My flying is usually dreadful. Crash is my middle name. And I sometimes get stuck simply walking through a patch of trees in an AT-ST. It's hilarious. :D

I changed my focus from general firefights to completing objectives, especially in Walker Assault. I practically never get the most points scored accomplishment but I've racked up a quite a few MVPs in the last month or so (self-boasting :p ).

I am still watching Enterprise..when I finish them I will move on to the others. They are a change of pace show for me while watching the other stuff.
Confess. Jolene Blalock hypnotized you, didn't she? Or was it just me? :p

I've watched all of the ST series except the original. I've watched a few episodes but not the whole thing.
Classic Trek is must see TV but there are about five episodes I recommend re-watching if you can't binge all three seasons:

City on the Edge of Forever
The Doomsday Machine
Mudd's Women
Amok Time
The Enterprise Incident

Maybe I will drop in and we can not kill each other 0.50 of the time.

I will probably pay for just to support the show. I do not want Star Trek development to stop.
You're a bigger Trek fan than me and I thought I was a devoted one. It pissed me off royally when they announced it would only be available on CBS All-Access. Makes me long for the days of syndication again. Then again, I did hate Encounter at Farpoint and dropped Next Generation like a hot rock only to come back to the show about a year later and fall in love with it. sigh. In the end, I'll probably end up paying for the new show too. :( :)

I agree .. that first episode was so disappointing, I guess more so because I went into it already cynical of the reboot, but I remember not liking the cast at all after that episode. I didn't watch it again until later in the year when the reruns started and nothing else was on, then I got hooked on it and still consider it my favorite ST series.

I was flipping through channels one day and came across the Contagion episode. It had a good feel so I gave it a chance. Near the end, Picard desperately teleports via the alien technology to the Romulan warbird bridge to escape the destruction of the alien base. He had the following conversation with the Romulan commander (paraphrasing):

Commander: You did this. You sabotaged my ship.
Picard: No.
Commander: I can't stop the auto destruct but I'll have the SATISFACTION of YOU dying with us!
<The Enterprise teleporter hits Picard>
Picard: NOT I think today, Commander.

All the Romulan commander could do was close her eyes and angrily whip back around to her chair in disgust. I was hooked and the rest is history.

Wanted something that both the wife and I would like to watch.

We tried the half hour comedy series called the Ranch. Has Ashton Kutcher and Masterson from that 70's show with Sam Elliott and Debra Winger as the parents and Barry Corbin had a small role as a vet.

The canned laughter is annoying and some of the comedy writing is pretty predictable and lame at times. I honestly don't know if this show would last on a regular network but for a half hour show to pass some time it was ok...NOT great.

Only problem is we watched the whole season in two evenings and there is only one season so far and I don't know if there will be more.

I started watching a series called "The Seventies" by CNN and produced by Tom Hanks. EXTREMELY interesting U.S. history and its produced very well. I started watching it because i wanted to see what was really happening in the world when i was but a wee child. Highly recommended. Oh, and "Bobs Burgers" is just hilarious, intelligent comedy. Absolutely love it. As far as falling asleep, that usually only happens if i start watching a show after coming home at 3am from a gig.

Guys I need something to watch...

I tried watching Penny Dreadful... I made it 2 1/2 episodes. I found it weird and boring.

Just finished NARCOS and really liked it. Series is basically about Pablo Escobar. Only one season at this point but new season must not be far off as they already have a season two trailer.

Now I am halfway through the first season of Bloodline and it is ok.

Marco Polo is amazing.

The first season was good but the 2nd went to another level.

Im looking for another show right now.

I enjoy Medieval shows like Marco Polo, Vikings, GOT, Spartacus.. I need some new shows.

Peeky Blinders is a pretty good show on NETFLIX.
Not medieval, but if you enjoy period stuff and love intrigue, check out Turn if you havent already
