The kid was a 6th round draft pick of the Jags. A draft that had Jags taking 3 projected 1st rounders in first 4 rounds: Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack, Andrew Billings.

But the guy they took in the 6th could end up with the best career. Holmes collected 25 sacks in 2 seasons, 18 in his last season outperforming fellow small school prospect, Noah Spence. Holmes is as big (6-3 255) but much faster (4.5 vs. 4.7). But biggest difference is that Spence played at Ohio State. I'd rather have the 18 sacks.

Holmes is buried on the Browns depth chart at 3-4 DE and OLB. He us ripe for the picking and should not cost much right now.

Jerry needs to take a chance right now before he flashes (relentless but lights really come on during games instead of practice).

We didn't even put a claim in, on the chance that he made it to us, so we aren't dealing a pick for him

Can't fix 2 wrongs with another wrong. Cowboys cannot, should not be satisfied with Wilber and Mayowa at RDE for 4 games.

They should have madequate some move before the season, and if they don't make one after Giants game it could be a very long first quarter of the season.

And there's no guarantee that Lawrence (back) and Gregory (addiction) will even be ready to play at high level in 5th game.

Bruh, Wilber will be a secret weapon.
Our GM said so.

It's going to be a long 3 remaining games till we can have a hope at an average pass rush.

Cowboys did their due dilligence on him at the Shrine game this year. Must have been something they didnt like.
