That was awesome. I shed a little tear at the end. Wonder if there is a full segment to that?

Kudos to Scott Linehan. He was one of the lone voices in the room for Dak. Said he was an 'old soul' from early meetings. Kid is transcendent in more ways than one, we're lucky to have him and man is he easy to cheer for. Just a biracial kid from a doublewide in the country whose late mother worked at a gas station prior to losing a battle with cancer - leading America's team back to relevancy, is just so damn poetic.

Amen. When we tried to get Lynch, then Cook, that wasn't because Linehan wanted it.

According to Jones, Linehan was "on the table" for the Cowboys to draft Prescott. Linehan had him rated with the top quarterbacks in the draft, Wentz and Goff, and he pushed for the team to rate him higher than it did.

I saw this earlier today. I felt chills and some water in my eyes. The story about his mama being so into football and her importance to him was pretty moving.

It's unfortunate for Dak but that March 12th DUI probably costed him 1-2 rounds, maybe 3. He said he was hearing late first to early second was a possibility from his agent - then for him to slide like that was a blessing from the football Gods.
