Winning the 8th game always reminds me of that Parcells quote.

How sweet it is to be 8-1 right now after what we all endured last season?

Last season was the most miserable season I can remember as a cowboy fan, knowing that we are 8-1 right now and got Zeke because of it makes it all worth it.

I hear ya bud. Without that miserable season we don't have Elliott and Dak. Times have changed. Two clutch performers!!

I still remember that post game presser from old Dollar Bill. You could tell that really meant a lot to him.

I also remember that. It really was a big deal coming off three consecutive 5-11 seasons. Those were the dark ages, and it was basically over that week in 2003.

Last season was worse because back then, I didn't expect much. I was thinking we would compete for a championship last season so as the losses stacked up, it was miserable.

I actually fell asleep during a game last season, I think it was the Bucs or the Packers. It was just pathetic.

Seeing a young Ladanian Tomlinson in the backfield makes it worth it though.

There is a lot of mediocrity in the league this year. Basically it is us n the Patriots. I don't see Dak put n up enough points to beat Brady in a shoot out. Romo gives us the best chance to beat Brady so look for Romo week 15 or so.

Say what you will but Parcells completely won me over at that point. He was misty-eyed and you could tell it meant something to him because he cared for his guys. He'll always be a Giant first but he got his Cowboy cred that day for me.
