They hate Dak cause he stole the job from Romo.

I dont hate Dak that's the furthest from the truth, but this is flat wrong he won the job with his play and never gave it back. Romo got what is it Wally piped? It happens, Romo will be fine he will be starting for another team next year. Dak will have all offseason to improve what little he needs to improve in his game.

Can't argue with this post, but others do dislike Dak.

Technically, Tony Banks stole the job from Quincy but Romo was on the roster. Testeverde was not good enough, and Bledsoe was the QB when Romo stole it from him. So, this happens all the time in sports history. When I say hate, I'm not talking about hate hate, but like Football hate. A strong dislike for the person that ran with your job.

Dude Romo was a developing young QB who was ready when Bledsoe became ineffective. If what Darren Woodson said was true Woody was going around telling everyone including Romo he was the best QB on the roster while he was running the scout team. Romo didn't steal a job and Dak didn't steal a job. You're not being "real" you're being combative and twisting things for no reason at all Clove.

I don't have a problem with QC's thoughts. That's just the way the business of football is. One person has a job and they want to keep it and they aren't into being buddy-buddy with the guy trying to take the job. And feeling is mutual.

I'm sure that Jason Witten isn't interested in being friends with Anthony Fasano, Martellus Bennett, John Phillips, Geoff Swaim or Gavin Escobar. I don't think he would refuse to give him any help, but that's something they will have to work hard to figure out.

Quincy was a classic case of a player that had superior athleticism, but was coddled throughout high school and college. And deep down for him, and players like him (i.e. Martellus Bennett) they are mad at themselves for never living up to their potential and letting an inferior athlete like Romo (and Witten) beat them out.

He's such an idiot. Always has been.

Jerry's worst draft pick ever. And that's saying something.

.

No where near the worst pick ever. He was a 2nd round draft pick.

Worse draft picks:
Bobby Carpenter
Felix Jones
Tony Dixon
Dwayne Goodrich
... and that's just off the top of my head.

Bad pick ... yes.

Worst pick ever ... not even close.

Why anybody would be interested in his opinion on anything he has to say is beyond me.

Probably not the worst draft pick, he was a servicable starter... But was drafted a couple rounds too early. First round blunders like Bobby Carpenter, David Lafleur, and Shante Carver have to be way up there. Plenty of other 2nd round mistakes I would put higher than carter as well.

It is a subjective comment, I admit. But I consider 2 things

1. The position he played is the one you can least afford to miss. Quincy was suppose to be the future. He was the next Donovan McNabb.

2. Jerry actually traded up to get him. He gave up additional draft equity to get him. That makes the pick even worse, at least to me.

But again, its my judgement.

Whoops! I guess I slipped because it's as close as we have gotten in for ever.
lol I know, its sad that a 1 and out had become a good year for us at that point. I always say that was the best coaching job I have ever seen, to go 10-6 with Quinthy and Hambrick in the backfield and your best defender is probably Dexter Coakley. wow.
