Brown doesn't have a woman accusing him of assault that's still presently in the court system. It's about PR. Brown's alleged victim didn't file charges to my knowledge and certainly isn't accusing him now. Elliott's did and still is. That's the difference.

Brown did have a woman accusing him of assault and was involved in an ongoing investigation when he got his one game suspension. The NFL suspended him in August of 2016 for one game. The legal case against Brown wasn't dropped until a month later when the wife decided to not continue with the charges.

So if you are trying to argue that Brown got different treatment because he wasn't under investigation at the time of his suspension, that's inaccurate.

The charges against elliott were dropped. What are you even talking about? There is no investigation other than the NFL one right now

The only evidence was her text messages to her friends telling them to lie to the police for her. Yet the case is still open. If we play the Giants be prepared for something to pop up again. Even if it's just getting it out there that he's still being investigated

Wouldn't count him out or in just yet. Understand that the player's union is now involved since, one, it was a failed test it was a missed test, two, the missed test seems to be as much the NFL fault since proper notification wasn't sent in the proper time, three, understand the next week a test was done and passed. Why is three important, because if you know much about weed and how long it stays in the system, then if Gregory used the weekend of the mis-test then he would have not passed the test.

Players union is also starting to do contract negotiations for the next CBA and unfair judgments by the commish is one of their top 5 items. The NFL based on rating this year does not want to even think about a possible strike even if it is a couple of years away.

Saying that, we should be concerned about the commish and Mara although money still tops their main concern and a Dallas/New England possible Super Bowl would be historic in terms of ratings.

Excellent news and info. I'm not doubting it I just wonder where you heard it all.

One thing to also note about the Lane Johnson case. Recall that he went on a shooting spree blaming everyone for his failed test, including the NFLPA. So the NFLPA wasn't exactly excited to help him in his appeal.

What are you talking about? That's the point being made. Our players are treated differently because we're poor unfortunate victims of a league wide conspiracy.

There's no truth to it whatsoever.
Saying that two cases were handled differently is the same as saying there's a league wide conspiracy?

Seems like an exaggeration. Possibly you're the paranoid one.

Exactly .......if it was one missed test when everyone else was getting tested that is different

But Gregory is in the Program so he can get tested up to 10 times a month.......if all his tests before and after were clean then there should be a little lee-way given, especially when you are talking about giving someone the death penalty....that is a consequence of 3 strikes laws and message boards suspension that are progressive.....the punishment never fits the crime

The whole substance abuse program is supposed to be about intervention and not punishment .....I know they make examples of the few players that fail but this is going too far imo.....he missed 14 games and passed every test all season so he his making great progress......to go back and banish him for a missed test seems severe

Has anyone heard anything? I'm trying really hard not to but I just can't hold it back. I'm getting excited about the possibility of having his added dimension in the mix on the dline in the playoffs. He's a disruptor.

A lot of companies don't actually run all the tests they give......it is too expensive

Most of the myths you hear about home made remedies are urban legends

Masking agents and saturation levels are also taken into account by the NFL
Every drug test ive taken they tested for weed lol you can clean out if you have a one day notice without the masking agents sold at head shops. Not all home remedies are urban leagends. I never failed one and smoked up to the night before and past with "urban legends".

You won't know until you know. The NFL can rule on his appeal at anytime. The Cowboys won't know until it's a done deal.
