I Have Never Seen A 13-3 Team Get This Little Respect

As others have pointed out...This is already the most tiresome and false meme of the year and its tiresome.

Are we not favored to win on Sunday? Have we not been the most talked about team all year--by far? Have we not had two players discussed as possible MVP? Has our o-line lacked for recognition? Did Lee not get All-Pro selection? Is Irving not getting noticed?

I just don't get this notion that we are disrespected.
Most first team All Pros.

No respect.

- Gunter is going to be on Bryant all over the field. If we slow Elliott down we win going away. Prescott isn't going to beat us throwing the football.

- Dallas has no shot at winning this game if Rodgers continues to play like this. Who wants to doubt me this week again?

- I'll put Gunter on Bryant and take my chances with occasional over the top help.

I think we roll the Cowboys. It may not be Tony Romo choking this year, but it's the Cowboys and they ain't coached by Jimmy Johnson. They will cough it up you can be sure.

- This game won't be close, at least not for very long. We will win this game handily. They have key rookies who have no clue about playoff football in the NFL. Expectations will weight heavily on them. They are 2-2 in their last 4 games, regardless of the fact that the last one was a throw-away game. They are only 2-2 against playoff teams, losing twice to the team we just thumped. Yes, they beat us head-to-head but we are clearly a different team that we were then. Momentum is a real factor in football and right now we are a three mile long freight train storming into Dallas at 70 mph.

Packers 35
Cowpies 20

- Our offense should shred them. The Giants have a far better defense than the Cowpies, especially in the secondary. No, the question will be whether their offense can keep pace, and that's a daunting task for them.

Little hint: if you go to a fan forum...you are likely to get a little homersm. Esp. after a game when everyone is drunk. Who the hell cares about a Packer forum?!?

Lol when did Gunter become Deion? They couldn't stop the offense at there place so down 3 corners they're gonna do it here? Ok

Can you post some links?

I'd love to read all these sources which are saying we have no chance.

You guys sound like those kids at Alabama who said they felt disrespected about all this underdog talk while they are a 7 point favorite over Clemson.

Just silliness.

No one is saying we have no chance but everyone is picking GB to win. Check out the videos at NFL.com or ESPN.com. Only analyst that I've seen pick us so far is Dilfer and he even says he isn't comfortable doing it.

I have 0 doubt that the talking heads will be slobbering all over GB and Rodgers this week. Most of the notorious Cowboys haters will be absolutely obnoxious to the point of unrealistic.

Glad I don't watch 'em.

Some of y'all are overreacting. This isn't as bad as Alabama trying to call themselves underdogs tomorrow, but it's a bit much.

We're still the favorites despite having little postseason experience compared to a QB/HC with championship pedigree. We're not playing a bum team that's struggling to win games. We're playing a red hot team with a red hot HOF QB. Many prisoners of the moment are gonna jump on the train assuming it's leaving the station. We're the better team and we should win, but we're not a "dominant" team that's gonna just walk all over the Packers.

They don't die easy. Almost all of their playoff games in the A-Rod era have been competitive despite most of them being on the road.

The lack of respect I am talking about is everybody and their moma saying we have no chance. I get that the Packers and Rogers are great, but to act like we have no shot at all is just ridiculous.

Who's everybody?

Go ahead name a few and provide actual quotes.

On one hand you have SB QB Aron Rodgers who's claim to run the table comes true. On the other you have a rookie QB who's had a great season but obviously hasn't seen the playoffs. Yet I have seen nothing that says we will get killed.

We're going to shock the world.
We're 4 point favorites so we are getting all due respect and as a favorite, winning would cannot really be considered shocking.

Frankly, I EXPECT to win this game.

Do you need the media picking the Cowboys to have confidence? I don't.

the line is realisitic. they are talking about despite being dominant almost the entire year, we aren't discussed as being the team to beat.
Its a show me world.

The fact we are green to the playoffs is significant.

We have to make ATT Stadium like Lambeau field this Sunday.

There in might be the difference in the game.

Seriously, its like the Packers are Alabama and we are D3 Western Omaha from what I am seeing online right now. Seriously, folks are acting like our entire season was just one big fluke and there is no way we are going to beat the great Aaron Rogers with a pair of rookies.

I have never seen a number one seed get crapped on like this............unreal:mad:

There is no more annoying word in sports than R-E-S-P-E-C-T. I am so tired of hearing players whine about it. If you shut up and go win ball games you'll get plenty respect. If the opinions of anybody outside your locker room prevents you from doing that, I'm not sure what kind of worship you think you deserve.

Agreed. Is the media claiming we are gonna get beat? I haven't seen any reports on this as well. I guess I'll check ESPN tomorrow and NFL live and see if they are disrespecting us.

Espn and NFL morning shows are sucking at the Packer teet, in general, the National media will pick Rodgers and the Packers but none of this stuff matters.

What matters is what the Cowboys do on Sunday, let the media give them the shine before the game is played.

Like I said in another thread I expect more of this even if the Cowboys beat the Packers. Next week it will be the Cowboys can't stop the Falcons offense..The Cowboys won't be able to score on Seattle's defense, and we all know if the Cowboys met the Patriots in the Super Bowl "The Cowboys won't be able to stop Tom Brady
