Romo plays a different version of futball those two follow.
All his teammates have received those over the years. Sometimes they have almost come true, judging by a few of the vicious hits he's taken for the team during his career.
Dallaseast, this is why you are the king.
BTW, I would die for you the way Tony would die for Dak.

I see the usual suspects have come to crap on this thread.
Low road or no road, as always.
Pease do not Romo on this thread. For once, keep it clean and the mods won't slap you down like last time.
Have a great Dallas Cowboys evening, Mikey!!!

GTB, you are half right. The Pope has Rome and is not humbled by Romo. The Queen, yeah, your right!

;-)
You just blew me mind, bloke.
All smug with your intelligence, having an Olympia and watching the sun orangate the Sandia Mountains. :)

That would be you on the low road. Or are you saying (which would be lying) that you for the first time ever were not belittling Romo?
You know very well you were being condescending for no reason whatsoever.
Don't put that on me.

He'll get one this year. Just not as a starter. Heck, a ring is a ring is a ring.
I hope he does but that's not the Romo way. I'm sure he will be happy to have one but it won't mean nearly as much to him.

I've noticed this, too. They're both listed as the same, but Dak looks like 2-3" taller than him. lol
You mean maybe 1 inch? Yes, it does seem that way.
Have to assume age, back surgeries, and maybe that Dak is slightly over 6'2 and/or all along Romo was slightly under. Add it up you can easily get an inch.

Please abstain from pettiness and personal asides.
Contain your sniveling to football matters. Thank you, good fellow.

Like you did in this thread...more than once?
This was normal, harmless, feel good thread, and jumped in and took a dump on it.

I did nothing.
All on you...uh, mate....completely.
Re-read your snide comments about this thread topic if you need a reminder.
Nobody is sniveling here.

I've already asked you at least once to do a mutual ignore with me.
I'd put you on ignore but I wouldn't trust that you would do the same. Then you could stab me in back all you like....no preferred.

Btw, no idea what you talking when you I got benched due to an encounter with you.
Has not happened....though you sure make it hard.

People shrink as they age. Me mum used to be 5'5". Now in her 50s, she is 5'3".
She has lost strength, which means she will no longer win when we're arm wrestle or kick box.
Methinks Romo has lost an inch to old age or back problems.

You seem to have your feelings hurt. I am contrite.
I will sing for you Brenda Lee's version of "I'm Sorry."
After that I will write you an apologetic letter.
OK, on the count of 3, let us both ignore each other.
Because in this crazy world, our differences don't amount to a hill of beans, and the French Vichy police are on to us. The plane leaves at midnight from the desert airstrip.
Bloke, I have a feeling this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship....

Great.
I'm pretty upbeat, but you seem to push the wrong buttons on me.
I'm fine with saying that's my issue.
But I'm very happy to do the mutual ignore.
It'll be good for us and the forum.
So as on now....ignore.

I love them both. Tony I've supported from day one. I hope we finish this fight for both of them.

We will see Romo again after he leaves this team and does 1 or 2 years somewhere else, he will come back as a coach in some way shape or form.

The environment Dak stepped into could not have been a better one. Stability in the coaching staff and a supportive veteran presence in Romo.

Contrast that with Romo's first full season in 2007. Brand new coaching staff, with an incredibly inexperienced offensive coordinator, and a lackadaisical head coach. Romo was treated like a seasoned vet that season, rather than a guy starting only his ninth game when the season started. There was a sense that he was not being coached all that much and was left to his own devices.

Dak's experience has been the complete opposite and he, and the team have benefited greatly.
