They are down WR1 (Nelson), RB1 (Lacy), and CB1 (Shields).

Packers are a wounded animal and the Cowboys are going to put them down.

If the Cowboys are truly have a Super Bowl caliber roster, this should be a cake walk.

They won 7 straight without Lacy or Shields. They destroyed New York w/out Jordy. I don't see a cake walk.

Cobb is definitely the x factor in that offense. They move him all over the place trying to free him up. Dallas has to find a way to take away those deep crosses. Rodgers will hit that spot where the corner lets him go to the safety more often then not. The issue with most teams is that their LB's don't get the right spacing and depth to stay in those lanes. Rodgers loves to push the ball downfield. He gets frustrated when he has to keep checking down and often will just try to extend the play instead of throwing a 5 yard pass. The seams are the key, in addition to not relaxing and giving the receivers any space after the initial route because Rodgers will just try to throw it anyway when the db is not looking. Jordy is a big loss though, he is the player that runs their "normal" timing based plays well. Like the outs and the hooks, etc.. Cobb is more of the zone buster.

Give Cobb and Adams a few big hits in the first quarter and I think we will be just fine! :)

Anyone who thought he would play with 2 broken ribs at the WR position was delusional. Didn't practice any this week and spent the whole night in the hospital.

I'll play the world's smallest violin for them.
You can pull that off as a QB but not as a receiver. One hit going full speed, it's over.

Nelson being out may not matter, all 38 of the Packers points last week came after Nelson was injured. Green Bay is more equipped to do without Nelson than they were in 2015 when he was out all season. Montgomery led the Packers with 10 catches for 98 yards in week 6 when we played them. Adams had a huge game against us in the playoffs in 2014 and they have Cobb. When Rodgers is on he can make any receiver a threat.

All the Packers need is Aaron Rodgers. They don't need a running game to win, Lacy has been out since week 7 and that hasn't stopped them. All 38 of Green Bays points last week against the Giants came with Nelson out. You're way off base if you think any team with a SB caliber roster is going to have a cake walk against the Packers the way Rodgers is playing right now.

He's so good he led the Packers to a 15-1 record in 2011 despite having the 32nd ranked defense and the 27th ranked rushing attack. The Packers live off his arm and unless we find a way to slow him down we're going to be in serious trouble. If this turns into a calk walk it will be the Packers coasting with Rodgers toasting our 26th ranked pass defense for 350+ and 4 or more TD's. It may take 30+ to beat Geen Bay on Sunday unless our defense plays their best game of the season.

I don't disagree with anything you said.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Rodgers throw for 4 TDs, 350 yards, and the Cowboys still win 38-28.

Yeah, definitely not a cakewalk. There's no doubting they're a better offense with Jordy, but they proved fully capable without him against New York. Still, I think it's a little different for a defense to adjust mid-game to the absence of a player like Nelson vs. us knowing all week he won't be there. Packers changed some things up in the middle of that game and New York never was the same (losing Rodgers-Cromartie didn't help).

I'd definitely rather face them with Allison playing 80 percent of the snaps out wide than Nelson though, that's for sure.

As that game went on Packer receivers were breaking wide open. I'm sure the loss or R-C had something to do w/that.

I'm sure not feeling bad for Green Bay and its injuries.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Rodgers throw for 4 TDs, 350 yards, and the Cowboys still win 38-28.

That's possible, he passed for 294 and a TD in the first game when he was off his game, plus we got an INT off him. We got 4 turnovers in that game and despite Zeke putting up almost 160 rushing yards the Packers still led in time of possession. If you go back to the first game, Rodgers had a lot of time to throw most of the day but kept missing receivers. He missed a receiver who was wide open for a TD. That's not likely to happen this time around. It wouldn't shock me if he passes for over 400 yards on Sunday and 5+ TD's if he's on like he was last week and we were to have any issues converting 3rd downs like we've had this season. We're going to have to maintain the ball and keep the Packers offense off the field as much as we can.

Our offense can't afford to miss a beat on Sunday and we can't afford these drive killing penalties we've been having. We may have to score every time we get the ball. When Rodgers gets hot he's unstoppable, we saw that in the second half against the Giants last Sunday. The Packers put up well over 300 yards in the second half against NY. I just don't get where you think this should be a cake walk if we're a SB caliber team. This is a very good Packers team despite Lacy and Nelson being out. Rodgers makes this team which is why he's won multiple MVP awards, he has a golden arm.

I'm not to concerned with what GB did against NY last week or Detroit a week earlier, both those offences are terrible and in both cases Detroit and NY offences didn't do nearly enough to help out the defence. At some point, your offence has to have some time-consuming drives to give the defence a break...the halftime alone is nearly enough of breather if your offence fails to sustain much...as for us, I have no doubt we will be able to move the ball, the key is don't turn the ball over and only trot Bailey for the extra point, stalling too often in the red zone against GB would be bad as well...and of course I'd like us to defer if win the toss, which we won't, then we need to get off to a quick start.

Just read that Leon Hall was not fined for the hit on Nelson.
Tbh why would he? I hear some saying spearing but being realistic unless its been head shots I don't remember many people getting flagged or hyped up over chest blows.

Dallas will be playing a lot of packages, come Sunday.

Those packages will support some pretty strong players in the secondary now.
