Only in the zone will you see guys get excited for a guy that can sprint 10 feet in 3 seconds. Before you know it...we will try and talk the fridge out of retirement to come play LBer w/ that kind of speed.

Honestly...that clip is concerning. No burst. No high knees. Looked stiff. Came straight up of the blocks. Got a feeling this guy is going to be another 2nd round bust.

Jaylon Smith

Hell...I'm afraid of what we will do next in this years draft. Our track record for swinging for the fences in the 2nd round suck.
Come on Floaty......it's a 3 step drill with acceleration-look at the red cones on his steps.

No idea what to make of it. If he wasn't able to do this at this point, would there be any hope he'd ever play?

I swear this is good news but a lot of you will find the negative in ANYTHING! Those that are still not over Green Bay, take a break away from this place lol.

I was actually under the assumption he'd been doing straight line work for a while now. What was good to see is his size, he looks like he's put on some muscle.

I get why people get annoyed by his tweets, but I think more than anything he's just trying to keep himself motivated. His tweets have nothing to do with the fans, they have to do with him dealing with over a year of straight rehab and no football. Anyone that's ever been through rehab knows there's nothing fun about it.

Jaylon is getting annoying with these tweets, and if I was Jerry Id walk to him and bust him in the mouth, then give him the peoples elbow

Oh yeah? Is that what you'd do?

I don't think anybody can argue with the talent of this guy. My main issue draft day was that a team devoid of talent on the Defense can't take the risk that he might recover. We had Sean Lee Byron Jones and trash draft day. And just because a bad decision turns out right doesn't justify it.

That jumped out to me as well. He looks like he's close to 250 lbs to me. And based on that, I'm thinking that the plan is to play him in the middle. Hopefully, he can combine the athletic ability that Rolando McClain had with an actual brain and the want to actually play football.

I'll say this much about the kid....he has sure come to the right organization if you want to grow your personal brand or promote yourself. I have nothing against the kid. Seems like a real hard worker. I am pulling for him to regain full health. But all I really want to know is....are the health issues you had that kept you from playing your rookie season completely resolved? Until they are....none of the cryptic tweets, workout videos or high praise from people that have seen you "workout" mean much to me.

And yes....I am still bitter that we did not win a playoff game this year. And my excitement for this organization has dulled. I have been a fan for close to 40 years...so the "experience" of a big fancy stadium, top notch stadium food and drinks, party passes, go go dancers, lingerie shops, art exhibits, state of the art practice facility, best TE in NFL history, best OL in the NFL, best RB in the NFL, best rookie QB in the history of the NFL, best rookie class ever, yada, yada, yada....does not move my needle. Because another season has come to an end...without any playoff success. So again...because I am Cowboy fan....I hope the young man is all everyone is saying he is...but wake me up when he has the pads on and is contributing to us WINNING games.
Wow, whatever.

Wow! 23? You say that like it's a good thing or an accomplishment.

And the cause of that 21-3 "blink" was in large part because they got away from the running game early. Anybody who truly wants to see it and can bear the truth, is free to look at the play by play for the game.

Or they can keep their heads buried in the sand.
Not giving the ball to Zeke caused Brice Butler's penalty that wiped out a 20+ yard gain ? That caused the other penalties ? Pretty sure that had nothing to do with it.

Give a pair to Romo on his way out the door.

He's going to need them wherever he's going.

He's going to find out life is going to be difficult wherever he ends up as there ain't no OL or Zeke or Dez or Witten going with him.

Do you.....HATE Romo? I hope he stays healthy wherever he goes and has a nice finish to his career.

No..

but my feeling is he has held us back for the last 4 years before 2014.

Then 2015 was even worst. Followed by 2016.

Nope..hate is not the word..impatient for him to move on?

Yessssssss.

Before Zeke and Dak, I think he was the sole reason we won games. Man....How opinions differ.
