Would you do this trade?

forgot about Quinn. Everything i keep hearing is how will Donald fit in a 3-4. Don't see the Rams giving up Donald for cheap. Especially to team in the same conference.
Phillips will make Donald fit. He is too good for him not to.

Quinn on the other hand is getting a lot of money and is coming off a mediocre season.

I don't think Rams would give him up for cheap. I would probably walk from it but i would think hard on it. Hes arguably the best defensive player in the NFL.

We have a rookie 3 tech coming off a 5 sack season and you want to trade our 1st and 2nd round pick as well as Romo for a 3 tech?

looking at his stats seems like a couple mediocre season but also only played half the season both years. what do you think Rams would want for him?

No idea. Probably a premium pick.

I don't even know if he is on the market. I do know he is earning a ton of money.

I always thought Collins can play both 3 and 1 in a attacking 4-3 front. I'm just trying to find all the ways we can help the pass rush. I agree with the thread you made awhile back that we not even draft a DE early and will look to our current edge players to improve the pass rush. Improving the interior of the line may be the way to do it.

Yes I would make that trade. With his height, we could use him to block field goals.

lmao. This would make the Herschel Walker trade look like a bad deal for Dallas!

The problem is the massive cap hit you'd have to take in future years to take on Osweiller. I assume you could restructure that, right?
IF I understand it correctly, Texans did his contract so they can get out of it in 2 years.

Osweiler carries a cap hit of $19MM this year and a $25MM dead cap hit if cut. What the hell was Houston thinking?
This is why is not impossible we get something unreasonable for Romo. Teams do incredibly stupid things all the time.

I would do that trade for the 1st and 3rd in a heartbeat. They can keep Os and designate him a june 1st cut...

A better trade idea. Who here is willing to trade Romo, our 1st,. and 2nd round pick to the Rams for Aaron Donald?
I'm in for that. Aaron Donald is a probowler difference maker. Move Collins over to the other spot and let them work

Why would we even want Osweiller

As a backup we're going to need a backup once Romo is gone. Osweiler backed up Manning real well in 2015 winning several games. I certainly wouldn't have an issue with him as a backup, plus he's still a young developing QB. He would be a hell of a lot better than butt fumble. This is all fantasy, none of this is going to happen but I think most wouldn't mind Osweiler backing up Dak compared to what will be out there.

Backing up Dak at $16 million in 2017 and $18 million in 2018...may as well keep Romo

There is not going to be any blockbuster trades for Romo if any at all. Teams will wait for his release.
The only problem with that is once Romo hits FA, any specific team lowers their chance of getting him considerably. Trading for Romo is the only sure fire way of landing him.
