Dallas area but looking in frisco south lake Keller. I know a few people who moved down and used certain real estate agents who are great and would help find what we like. It's 1/4 of what something would cost up here in New York and get acre of land lol
People should be warned about property tax. It's about 1/3 of the mortgage payment in Texas.

My property tax is $1000 per month.

You fight that traffic every day on the Embarcadero?? You got all those Alcatraz tourists to deal with

When we lived in SF, rarely adventured North of Daly City unless it was to go to Napa :flagwave:

My company has a relationship with Lifetime. I see the playmaker there all the time. One on Preston.
Yeah. I heard Irvin and sometimes Deion go to that gym. I use to see Irvin at the 24 hour off Old Denton. Alsi, Randy White works out at ths 24 hour in Frisco.

Ha. I work in the financial district and live in North beach. Nice 10 minute walk into the office.

Not cheap out here unfortunately. LOL

what about if i told you the cheerleaders work out there too?
I'm happily married. My wife is the only cheerleader I need to watch workout.

Btw, love the random $88.....well I guess Drew, Mike, and Dez make it not so random, but more like symbolic.

I would rather work out at home for free.

This ^^...or also I just found out, supposedly I have a list of places I can choose from, that my insurance will pay for. One place has a pool, which is a big plus for me.

Hell no. That's like going to Starbucks and wasting your money on a $5 cup of coffee.

Right, if I get a cup of coffee out somewhere, I can get a McDonald's for $1, and it's better coffee. Much better.
Skip the food, but get the coffee.

Yeah, it's not cheap. It makes up for the no income tax on wages perk.
Though I just did an online protest of one of my rental houses, made an offer to reduce the value by $30,000, and they accepted it. Now waiting to see how much the taxes drop.
Going to do my own home next to see.
Most places have until May 31st to protest.

Taxes up here are insane. I gotta look up about Texas. Thanks for that heads up. I also build high rises in Brooklyn so I'm going to start down in Texas too. Have to look into that as well.

I've done that before other with properties I owned. I should probably do it with my residence also.

Where are you guys working out for $150, $160 a month?

Most of the gyms here in Austin run about $40 a month, that includes Golds, Planet Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, LA Gym, ect....

The only gym that expensive that I can think of is lifetime fitness (south mopac where the Costco is and the newer Whole Foods) and that local Austin one. I can't remember the name of the Austin one but they have 2 locations. The one downtown across from whole foods and the other off of braker / 183

The houses around DFW are insanely large and inexpensive relatively speaking. I've had friends move from here in Amarillo to DFW and get a whole lot more house for the buck than can be had here... which seems insane to me, I guess supply is that dang large,

They have one called Verdure here, I'm guessing it will cost that much or more...

Seems dumb to have so much outside water stuff in the Texas Pnahandle... You can use it 4 to 5 months out of the year at best.

I hate slam packed gyms and I can't see how that thing won't be always slammed.

With our corporate sponsorships I think most gyms here are 40ish on down.. Zach54's (Zach Thomas has two gyms here), Golds, Town club and your planet fitness and anytime fitness types.

Yes, but people from some states are unprepared for the property taxes.
