Back in the day of real freedom and worry free days ,I couldn't really just pitch a set of harvested corn fed pistol shot deer ribs and would BBQ them on a pit grill on the south forty, them being so lean they( like beef) cooked up quick as two beers drunk,,, and I usually hit about four before checking on them,,,:lmao:
That's just getting primed :lmao:

Venison spare ribs and sausage are awesome! So is ground venison with cow fat. Mmm mmm!!! :D

Venison steaks can be a little gamey, depending on the kill shot. The longer that beaut ran, the more game in the meat. Give me a venison steak on a clean .306 headshot any day of the week. But a lung shot where it ran for another 300 yds and I taste it. I still tear it up, but I need a marinade most of the time.

The spare ribs, sausage, and ground meat really mask the gaminess either way, imo.

I was telling Trouty that most ribs in Texas are pork, I thought ya insinuated that beef ruled in Texas. Beef does rule, just not when it comes to ribs is what I am getting at........not a preference of taste per say :D
Apples and Oranges my friend. Pork ribs are all over the place here but for my taste buds, only beef ribs will do.

Yeah,I know a clean kill is the way to go, when their running and you stop your front sight swing to fire you usually hit 'em further back than intended,,, you wouldn't know it troutster but I had a hired hand that got opened open from a couple of blasts from a double barrel shotgun one evening while we were drunk/ running around,,, that musky scent expelling from his sucking chest wound immediately reminded me of a misplaced shot on a rutting buck,,, only stronger,,,, I'm gonna drink a like more ,now!

Man, that ain't blabbing. That's letting a piece of your soul out. Mad respect to you for that, Melon.

I've done some horrible things in my life, been through and seen my fair share, too. You and I, we aren't sheltered, that's for sure. We have God on our side, tho. I have your back, brother. Always.

Some of you guys that I admire and respect are conditioned like one of Pavlov's dogs,,, news flash!
The Good timing former pilot that had been flying the plane is up in the booth,,, we got Capt.Dak and the attackerteers fixing to mobilize for Iwo Jima.
I have to admit. I'm conditioned like Pavlov's dogs. When I'm waiting for my first shot of tequila I find myself salivating. Gulp gulp gulp

Meh. No biggie but next time just call or text Garrett. It's easy, just takes a few seconds to let him know.
Just like everyone in the workforce, if you're going to be late just call in.

But on the grand scale of things, not that much of an issue. You notice how the Oline never makes the news and always shows up on time. I can't remember the last time Tyron, Frederick, or Martin no showed or showed up late. Kudos to those guys!
