I'm pretty sure Zeke could have paid of this girl to go away. Now this will cost him millions and will hurt the chances for every other teammate who works all year to try to get to the Superbowl. Now every one of these players has a target on their back from people looking for easy money. And if your a player you better think about paying up the money rather then rolling the dice that you might not land on Goodell's bad side. You better hope your not on a team that Godell has an ax to grind.

Players need to unite behind a fellow NFL player and against this power play Godell is trying to force down the whole NFL. Today its a cowboy player. Who will it be next? Now will the players see the big picture and unite to fight the monster? Only time will tell....

Its curious that the NFL believed the accuser, despite the fact that her story had multiple inconsistencies. Despite the fact that she lied to investigators on several occasions. And despite the fact that there is electronic evidence that shows her in the act of creating a false witness.

Despite ALL that they found her more credible than Ezekiel Elliott.

You know why they found her credible?

Agreed. what's even more disturbing is they believed her and Zeke's attorneys never got the chance to cross examine her to show inconsistencies. Instead they took her word as gold and ran with it. Seems a but unfair to any player if this is how they are going to conduct investigations.

The NFL simply couldn't allow a prominent allegation of DV to go unpunished. Not after Ray Rice. Not after the Giants punter. The facts, were always going to be secondary to the PR goal of showing that the league takes a strong stand against domestic abuse.

They ruined the family/divorce systems the last fifty years with the DV card. Men have caught on and finally realized marriage is nothing but Russian roulette now a-days so the attorneys aren't making the money as easily now. This then leads to companies pulling their advertising which directly affects their bottom income. This is just the start of the fall of the NFL. Just my honest opinion which most people probably will disagree. Unless you have seen how the courts favor women in family/divorce causes.
