Pierre paul has looked as good as ever this camp. The giants strength on offense is Dallas weakness on defense, the passing game. The giants are like the packers and the running game is secondary to the passing game. This is how they are built and operate.

I am looking forward to a healthy lawrence in this game also I think Collins can cause problems. Dallas did a good job last year at ny on defense.

Its going to be a great game. The giants have banged up players like Dallas does so it will be fun to see who ends up playing.
You keep comparing the Giants offense to the Packers, but youre forgetting a major thing; Eli IS NOT Rodgers or even close. Eli isnt anywhere near as mobile, doesnt have the arm, and the Giants OL doesnt pass protect anywhere near as good as the Packers...

Not sure what the playoff game has to do with it, they lost to the same team we did and they were on the road. They also dropped td passes early in the game and never recovered.

This obsession with preseason is misplaced. They have a ton of talent on offense. Do you realize how difficult matching up with Beckham, Marshall, shepherd and engram is going to be?
No different then always. They have no line or run game. You know how hard it is to throw the ball with no line.

The point of the playoffs is their offense failed like it did all season. They are terrible. Yes we lost to the same team but we are a better balanced team.

Our defense isn't bad like you and some want to believe

You think matching up with the giants in 11 personnel with Beckham, Marshall, Sheppard, Engram and Perkins is the same as last year when they ran out Beckham, Cruz, Sheppard, Donnel and Jennings?

They are improved.

I have said nothing about our defense being bad in this thread.

The system and how they operate, how they will attack will be similar. Different personnel and manning is not rogers but the packers have no one as talented as beckham.

Plus its a division rival, the best rivalry in the game currently.

Why wouldn't I be concerned about week 1? It'll be natural child birth to get a win over the Giants. As it always is.

I think this team is headed for an 8-8ish season. Take a step back like they always do. It will really impress me if they put together anything like last year. If they do, it would truly be a new era of Cowboys football.

I agree with this. We simply aren't a complete team. Dunno why the championship talk around here.

And Moron is still head coach, that has to always be factored in.

Bad defense and coaching. Good QB and skill players on offense. OLine took a step back.

8-8

Dallas could be without 15-16 of our top 50 players the first few games.

Yeah, it's concerning.

You don't get it. No line and no run game. Remember the Dallas and Vikings playoff game? No line couldn't move the ball.

You continue to think the Giants are improved. They have took a step backwards on defense as well. Come the season you will see

The Giants have the skill positions, outside of QB, fairly well done. Perkins is a guy until he proves otherwise. Shepard/OBJ/Marshal look like a WR1, an older player who they're hoping can be WR2 and a slot guy who's been injured some already. Engram I'll be more worried about next year then this, most TE don't have a large impact year 1. Mitigating their weapons is one of the two or three worst olines in the league and a QB who will throw it up at least 4-5 times a game. I doubt they're going to be a good offense, it will likely be a lot like last year in which they hope the defense keeps the opponents down and they score somewhere in the 20 point range and win 17-16 and the like. i doubt we see a juggernaut offense. If their defense regresses any then I suspect they will be in trouble.

I never worry about a season based on preseason scoring.

I do worry about losing Hitchens, though. And I think we're short one OL who can actually play.

Of course you're concerned. You wouldn't watch otherwise. There would be no drama.

The line is nowhere near as bad as you keep stating and with perkins at rb and ellison at tight end they are going to be improved running the football.

I'm concerned about the backend. I just watched the Raiders game and the secondary play was really bad especially at Safety. Jones seems lost and Heath was always late. The Corners were OK but we could use some Safety help IMO.

Yet that is a projection cause right now they look terrible. You are over rating them for whatever reason.

Forget the fact that Odell, Marshall and Shepard are all hurt. Both their OT are atrocious. Eli is past his prime and turns the ball over. Giants will be lucky to be 6-10 much less make the playoffs
