I'm philosophically not a fan of loose zone, but the Cowboys have won a lot of games playing it. This video was over the top.

We were just trying to get enough bodies out there. Let's see how things looks when they have a little health and the kids get five, six games under their belt.

There's just so much about the film that paints so many bad pictures that it doesn't even matter anymore.... it was putrid pretty much anywhere you look. Sunday won't come soon enough, maybe some people will step away from the edge and we can get on with the season...there is no freakin way the team is as bad as the Broncos game and it is no where good enough to win a Super Bowl but things change and you never know what can happen. Keep your chin up fellas and walk in the Sun....

Fans constantly complaining about playing corners off of receivers don't understand football.

That being said, Trevor Simien is a QB who want to force to beat you deep. I don't understand the decision to play so far off so consistently in THIS game.

Same thing a lot of us have been saying for a few years now. What is the point of having both safeties deep if u are also going to keep your CBs 10 plus yards off the LOS? A. Brown and Lewis were set up to fail over and over, the pass rush has no shot to get home. It seems like the entire philosophy is to let teams play pitch and catch and hope you can tackle them before they get a first down.

It cost them the game vs GB as Rodgers and company picked them apart. In the second half the defense was forced to get aggressive and suddenly the Packers started to struggle on offense. Allowing Dak to get them back in it.

Only problem with that logic is we played the same way vs GB, Washington and others last season. The red zone defense just played better.

Not on the backend, not even close. Up front, I will say yeah...getting there with Tank, Irving, Moore coming back. Need to get the rooks and vet DBs going this year. It can come together if we get some health.

As I said...I'm not a fan of loose zone. I like press coverage.

But I just found the video to be real sloppy and full of hyperbole.

What do you want instant perfection from a bunch of rooks? It should hold up for awhile unless lightbulbs just suddenly come on for all of them. Takes a while. Otherwise the statement is valid.
