no matter what. this was brought to my attention yesterday evening, I was asked if I thought that Ronald Leary schooled the Broncos defense on all of the line play calls and signals, which would tell them what is about to be ran. My friend was convinced that the defense knew exactly what was about to be ran and they were there first before our OLine could get them blocked. I admitted that played a part most likely a big part, but still our OLine has to execute, when they realized what was going on, they needed to then buckle down and figure out out to get their blocks executed. Now you can say that the coaching staff should have taken that into account and changed the line calls and plays , but it is not that easy or simple, once again our Line needed to execute find a way to execute and accomplish their assignments. I remember Emmitt and Irvin would always boast that they ran the same 10 plays the whole game and teams knew what was coming but they could not stop it, until everyone started getting older. that is where our young OLine needs to get to. I remember reading or hearing during the preseason or offseason where Zeke boasted about running the same 4 plays but that no one can stop them, that is because they executed their assignments. Once we get to that status we will be unstoppable no matter who knows our OLine play calls

There are 5 O-linemen on a given play, Denver was bringing 7-9 guys. We had two halftimes and where was the adjustments to make them pay?

This is a lack of creativity and an inability to adapt to the circumstances by the coaches...

Rod kept running out the same zone with the corners 10 ft off the ball and the safties 25 ft off the ball. It's pretty sad. Any division 3 QB could have done what Simein did. As for the offense I kinda tip the cap to there defense which did an amazing job on all phases but that is when an OC needs to show a little creativity. Run some pitches, set up some screens, use motion or bunch formations. Show something different when the base O isn't working.
