I knew we were going to miss him.

One thing about Carr. He wasn't perfect, but he was always there. Never missed a start for us. Now we have guys who can't even make it through a few practices without pulling up lame.

Cornerback is the most oft-injured position in the NFL. Carr never missing a start in 5 years is incredible for a CB and I would rank it up there with Favre's streak. But, it doesn't mean he was that great.

From what I've re-watched of the game, the corners weren't bad except for Carroll who left the game early. Byron played terrible, but he was dealing with a groin injury. Heath was even worse so I don't know what his excuse is. Jaylon struggled, but he wasn't nearly as bad as Heath.

From what I recall, it seemed like he was being over aggressive/trying for the kill shot than technique.
On that 3rd and 11, he sees the passes to CJ but flies in with too much speed and CJ goes to his side.
He slipped one play that led to a TD(?) after having a good play contesting the pass over the middle.
And then tried to do the Wilcox special by trying the "hit stick" instead of wrapping up on CJ another time, which failed.
And, I think that's all I remember. Trying to clear that game out of my head

Even if he's good, we don't need him at this point. We have a bunch of young safeties who need to play.

I watched some of it last night. He was out of position in zone coverage quite a bit and it was puzzling as to why.

Were you watching the same game the rest of us were? We need help in the worst way possible. FWIW, I have not been crazy upset with the line play. I think we have more issues on the back end then the front end right now.
