That Field Stretcher

The guy that, when he lines up, the secondary is already cheating backwards. The guy that truly strikes fear in opposing corners... Where is he? Every championship level team has one.

It's not Dez. He no longer separates and runs lazy routes. He appears to be content with being a 1a.

Its not Brice. He disappears for weeks at a time and can be very inconsistent. Very....

It's not Twill. He's a great body catcher and can contribute a little yac across the middle but you're not going to see him catching anything over his shoulder downfield.

So who is it?

Wasn't he one of the most accurate with the deep ball last season? This has already been proven wrong. I think we should have made a move for Dorsett to be honest. We need speed in this offense to take the top off and stop opposing teams from stacking the box and doubling deZ

No, it was not. He barely throws them and when he does throw 30+ yard deep balls he is bad.

He was awesome at intermediate throws last year but this year he has sucked.

If you want to pretend he has been accurate and playing well then you go right ahead.

Sadly it's Brice and it shows why he got a 1 year 1m contract. He has the size and the speed, but not the consistency.

Correct me if I'm wrong Fuzzy but a prerequisite to getting a ball thrown downfield is appearing open. Correct?

Romo used to throw Dez balls to high point regularly. Dak still doesn't know how to do it. Nevermind Dak not looking that way when he is wide open on a fly.

I like Dak but if he cannot regain his accuracy then we are in trouble.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how his accuracy returns when the rest of the offense gets it in gear. The deep ball? Not so much. There's no one to throw it to.

It does sound attractive though. I'm not sure how successful we would be having both of them on the field though. Seems more like a novelty. Like running the wildcat... Lol
