Speed isnt everything. That the problem with this team and its fans. Speed isn't the only mismatch in this game.

If we send a wr vertical and he has a one on one matchup I don't care who it is, just throw it up to him. They call it 50/50 but anybody who plays football know the defender is at the disadvantage their cuz he's the one who has to find the ball and react to the ball.

The weapons aren't the problem, it's the play calling. TWill is in the prime of his career and apparently loves to foot races, especially when the sun is down, so that perfect because we play prime time most of our schedule anyway. When Tony threw it up for him, he usually made the catch

I'd take Will and the work he's done over Bill as a GM.

Bill and Brady as a combination have overcome the shortcoming of Bill as the GM. Not won because of it.

You'd be outvoted 31-1 by the collective fan bases on that call.

I can't argue with this at all but it's more than just the play calling. If they line up 9 in the box (as did Denver) daring you to pass and you execute a dive play up the middle I consider that a failure on multiple levels.

1. The OC for being dumb enough to make that call.
2. The QB for being dumb enough to not call timeout and walk over the the sidelines to ask wth.
3. The RB for not calling timeout and asking the QB why he didn't.

Dez is an awesome WR who has his own skills and weaknesses like any athlete. Now because of Dak's weakness (he has pros to his game as well) we blame everything on Dez.

Dez doesn't get open or create separation they say; meanwhile Dak misses Dez who is WIDE OPEN on a 5 yard slant for a TD. I dunno that appears to me like Dez created perfect separation there.

Remember last year when Dez executed a perfect double move on Josh Norman and was WIDE OPEN for a 60 yard TD and Dak never saw him? Remember last year when we had multiple gifs posted of Dez creating separation and being open and Dak never seeing him?

Look i'm not saying Dak is trash. I'm saying he's a young QB and we need him to mature and grow more than we need to worry about Dez or other WR shortcomings on this team. It was shown with the All 22 after week 1 that Dez drew extra attention on virtually every snap? Dez's mere presence despite his flaws is the biggest thing helping Dak.

Now Dez who has great hands needs to not drop balls. That drop into an INT was bad.
Dez runs the laziest route in the history of route running and is responsible for a cb jumping the route and scampering 103 yards for the pick 6...

There.. FIFY. I just wanted to be sure we were including everything.

I would love to have a guy on this team that had serious speed. It doesn't seem like JG wants a speed guy. He seems to go after big WR's or Cole Beasley types.

Sadly it's Brice and it shows why he got a 1 year 1m contract. He has the size and the speed, but not the consistency.

No it's not. I would be fine w/ Brice lining up as our #2. It's T. Will that confuses me. And why we gave him a 4 year...17 mil deal. No speed (not enough to get deep)...inconsistant hands.

I would trade Williams for someone that has speed.....right now....but no one is gonna eat that contract.

Dez was never held accountable and forced to be a better player...he was pampered by the Cowboys FO/Coaching Staff and worse they are making the same blunder with Elliott.

Actually, the Cowboys did lay down the law with Dez. They forced David Wells, his "personal advisor", to chaperone him everywhere he went for a number of years. Dez had to stay away from parties, nightclubs, etc. unless he had the team's permission. The Cowboys essentially acted like Dez's babysitter until he proved he grew up enough off the field to earn their trust.

I think it's time they consider babysitting Zeke, too.

They have to do something. Zeke is his own worst enemy. And the media's going to jump on him for every little thing he does now.

lol. So Cowboys will have an adviser with Zeke whenever he is intimate with a woman behind close doors? Ya, Zeke or any woman will allow that.

Is Dak- Brady?
Is this team the Patriots with Bill heading them?

I think...

NO.

There are the Patriots and there is the rest of the NFL.
As to our Cowboys, if they are behind by 14 points and there are 5 minutes left in the game, Garrett's brain trust will run the ball up the middle on first down. On second down with 8 yards to go, he'll ask Dak to throw into double cov. On third down Garrett will opt for a slant route when every receiver is covered. Every defensive coordinator knows what the Cowboys will do. Why do you think other teams stack the line so often or go to double coverage so often? They know, blokes!
Garrett is our Achilles heel.
