Drafting a QB that high right now would be a monumental waste of assets. Thats something you do if Prescott has given you enough indication that he is a poor pro QB.

I am glad a reactionary person like the OP is not running our draft.

If Dak doesn't look like he can put this team on his shoulders and the rookie year was a fluke, we can't mess around and hope for a "bounce back" third season with the unique QB class coming up.

Sam Darnold, The Chosen One, Allen, and Jackson are all quality QBs that any other year, would be considered top 5 talents if not for the competition.

I think Darnold is going to the Jets while Jags will snag one of the other QBs if Bortles doesn't step up. But we are in serious contention right now to have a top 15 pick with how our defense is and the way Dak has played.

Time to find a true franchise guy that can make all the throws and doesn't go noodle arm on every other intermediate throw.

Dallas has a QB who can lead this team and a true franchise QB.

Matt I would appreciate your two cents today.

LOL Oh K Matt the dodger

What? I simply don't watch the show. I'm sure you can find some other source you want me to read, they offer nothing new on that show. I'm sure whatever they said has been repeated on here and I've already addressed.

OK I can give you a line up of testimonies from Troy Aikman ,
"You run out of superlatives when it comes to how well (Dak) has played".
or Jimmy Johnson,
"Prescott's a perfect guy for this team: He's a running threat, he's healthy," Johnson said. "He protects the football and he keeps that defense out of bad situations."
But this guys dont really understand the game like ......

Haha, this place is so back and forth on Troy. Now Troy is someone we listen to? I thought we stopped listening to Troy 10 years ago because he's a Cowboy hater?

Also, none of that is really an argument against what I've said about Dak. I can also give him compliments, about how he reads the field and his poise normally in the pocket. Really doesn't address my criticisms.

Have you actually given any arguments against Dak in this thread, that you started?

Most of the people who have responded to me, have been in other threads and know my criticisms of Dak. So much so, most of them aren't even attempting a discussion but trolling because they got upset they couldn't counter me back.

But either way, I would much rather this just turn into a discussion on the college QBs. Since this is the draft zone.

Jones boys are too cheap to build a free agency defense.
first of all there needs to be something worth something to go all in on a FA defense. Were there marquee pass rushers, nope just JAGS and old guys. Were there some awesome shutdown corners, nope just a bunch of Dallas cast offs.

we are talking a kid in his 2nd year at QB and has posted 15-4 record. Who won the rookie of the year, who is showing great leadership on this team and yet is still working hard to improve and develop. You have your opinion that is fine but it is not the only opinion, some of us actually believe he is a very good QB and will only improve. Going back to the drawing board looking for a QB even a high draft pick does not ensure anything, god knows there are a lot of high profiled college QB who were drafted high who have done a lot less than Dak

of course it does two expert witnesses testifying against your opinion is admissible
but self reflection requires honesty also .
