Now, I don't feel too bad for losing to the Broncos

When a team thoroughly out classes mine, what I like to see is for that team to go out the next week and get beat by a mediocre team to show they aren't really that good.

We got dominated by a team that isn't really that good.

~sigh of relief~

Only in Jerry World...does this make sense.

If Cowboys play Broncos on a neutral field they will whip them.

Keep dreaming...

You give this coaching staff way too much credit.

Marinellie is set in his ways....he's not changing. Last season playing man up w/ his CBs just about killed him. Now he has his soft zone CBs...and he isn't gonna give them up w/o a fight.

He would rather go down w/ the ship than admit he was wrong. :(

I think the Broncos were feeling themselves this last week. Too much praise was heaped on them. I do think the Cowboys weren't prepared to play last week, but I do think they can right the ship.

It seems that happened.

The Broncos were full of themselves after their win over the Cowboys like the Cowboys were full of themselves after beating the Giants.

The talent level in the league is too close; A drop in mental preparedness can be the difference between a win and a loss.

Interesting rationalization. Getting hammered by a team that loses the next game is usually not considered a good sign.

Well, just like Denver's game today says a lot about them- the Cowboys' game on Monday will tell us a lot. You have to understand the psychological aspect of the game, the team and then individuals. This is a long season and the crescendo affect cannot be applied to soon. That was one of Jimmy Johnson's biggest challenge. Clearly Jimmy handle it well because we peaked at the right time.

Many a good team have felt high and mighty going into Denver only to have their sacs torn off and handed to them, Dallas won't be the last.

It's a long season. How this team responds, in particular the young bucks who to this point have had things go pretty smoothly for them in their young careers, will mean much more than the game itself.

IM sure the bills didn't play the same prevent defense we did. I have never seen linebackers play 10 yards off the ball until Rod Marinelli and his aggressive turnover machine defense came here.

So the Broncos go out and get whooped up on by one of the bottom dwellers of the league,.. so that means we should feel better about getting beat to sleep 42 - 17 by them a week ago? That's some crazy logic.

Now, I don't feel too bad for losing to them. They were clearly playing above themselves. They lost to the Bills today. I'm sure if we meet them again it will be a different outcome.

Either that or beware of the Bills.

Was my initial thought, I feel a bit worse now. Denver isn't supposed to be beat by the lowly Bills :muttley:

Denver played Dallas like it was their super bowl. Most teams do. Either that or we are worse than the bills.
