I give credit to the Washington team. Judging my their week 1 performance, I had no idea they had it in them. Then again, folks can say the same thing about the Cowboys, judging by their week 2 performance. I now realize it was an unfair assessment I made of the Washington team and now see them as a much more competitive opponent.

Probably not. Although I think most of the teams in the NFC East are pretty close to each other in talent. There is not nearly the gap most thought during the offseason. I even expect the Giants will have a real strong run where they put themselves back in the picture (although I don't think they will overcome their 0-3 start as it just gives you no wiggle room to withstand a few bad breaks).

The Commanders defense has looked better so far. Like Dallas, their defense has been a mirage at times. We will see if either Dallas or Washington's defense can get better or stay good for the full season. Having Preston Smith play at his rookie year level certainly helps. Having someone on the other side of Kerrigan really gives them a good pass rush.

The Red Skins dismantled Oak so bad the Denver game with us last week looked pretty average. They showed good offense, great defense, and good STs. At this point in the season, if we played them, they would win by a land slide. To play in their sand box we would need that young secondary to be healthy and playing at a high level.

Im not in agreement with that at all.

It's football. I was very surprised they beat the Raiders, particularly winning so decisively. But they looked terrible against the Eagles and weren't all that impressive against the Rams. They have a really good trio of corners with Norman, Breland and Fuller. Cousins played incredible last night. Still a long season to go.

Exactly.

I'm sure in two weeks we will be on top followed by Philly. How it goes

I guess the flavor of the week are the deadskins now....LOL, they could get dismantled by the Chiefs next Monday night IN KC. This season has shown us there are no super teams in the NFL. Not even the "mighty" Patriots. So press on the brakes and see what happens. Now the Chiefs are trying to make a statement that they are the one, but come on man, its a long season and they could be mediocre by the end of it. We shall see. But it does seem that home field is a big advantage in the NFL......except for the Cowboys.

Yes, they looked good, beating a west coast team at home. They also looked terrible losing at home to the Eagles in week 1 (an Eagles team that needed a 61-yard FG to beat the Giants at home) and they were tied with the Rams late in the 4th quarter of that game.

Nothing means much at this point of the season. Or rather, we don't know what anything means at this point of the season.

We are getting DIrving back after next week (DMoore plays tonight too). Our d will be fully healthy soon with the return of Hitchens, and hopefully Awuzie to fill out our corner depth with Scandrick, ABrown, Awuzie, JLewis, and Carroll. Wait until we see what our d is fully healthy.

And I have said over and over, we haven't even used Switzer yet at wr. Another weapon for Dak.

And other injuries (or suspensions) will inevitably occur.

That's true. We haven't used Switzer yet. I am hoping to see that. I just hope our coaches haven't ruined Dak with the force it to Dez bull ****.

So far it looks like the Eagles are the most consistent and I am not sold on them. They barely beat the 0-3 Giants, they could have easily lost to the Commanders too, they too could be 0-3.

I will see how we bounce back tonight, and still give it another week to see all what will shake out. Not concerned at this point.

all I know this game tonight, at the moment, feels like it has a little more importance. Not saying a must win though.
Well, they're consistently average if that's what you mean.

Maybe. It will either be them of Philly....it definitely won't be us. The NFC East winner curse always goes into effect (no repeat divisional winners in like 12 years). The best we can hope for is a wildcard.
