A year later from his taking a knee.... he's unemployed and Trump is president. So good job Kaep.

Martin Luther King was murdered....was he a failure? He was murdered for fighting against racism and fighting for civil rights. He was murdered before he could see his dream come true. Failure?

People are kneeling to spread awareness of the oppressed in this country.......and people want them to shut up and bash their heads in. People claim kneeling for the anthem is anti-American yet those critics of the ones kneeling during the anthem are the ones who sound anti-American. This country may have been built on hate but that doesn't mean we should continue that same hate for stuff we don't understand or agree with.
So, who are the oppressed in this country? The ones in Obama's home town of Chicago who are getting mowed down by the hundreds? And if so, what are the NFL Social Justice Warriors doing about it?

My father's side of family were police officers. Because of that I know that any routine stop can result in danger for the officer-- never know who you're pulling over for a busted tail light or what they have in their vehicle.

But the answer to settling this issue is fairly easy; a concerted national outreach campaign.

People who feel targeted need to know that the Police are not against them, and while there are a few bad apples in badges that doesn't represent all officers.

These people need to see officers as the authority, but also as people just trying to do their jobs and serve their community. Put it on billboards. Air commercials. Have a slogan.

Stop being dismissive and/or flat out combative and start breaking down the damn barrier in communication.
Well said

What on earth does Obama have to do with this?
Conservatives are always so quick to bring up Obama...why stop there? Why not bring up Clinton or Bush Jr?

.
These people already have come up with some slogans.
"What do we want? Dead cops!"
and
"Pigs in a Blanket, Fry 'Em Like Bacon"

I noticed that you were silent about Chicago and conveniently ignored the hundreds being killed there (and not by cops, BTW)

Shouldn't police see people as the same? Someone just trying to get home to his or her family? You are asking the public to show compassion to police but that same isn't been done in return by some.

Seriously already wrote my letter to Jerry Jones asking for a refund if he sanctions any Cowboys player protest.... I just haven't sent it yet.

Jerry doesn't care about your refund or letter lol. You paid to watch guys play football....if players kneeling is bothering you that much then go and watch tennis or hockey. You will watch domestic abusers and murderers but not someone kneeling during the anthem...

So, you don't believe that the hundreds of people being murdered in Chicago every year are 'oppressed'? Just the 5 or 6 killed by cops unjustly should be the ones that NFL anthem protesters should be concerned about, correct?

In general, I'm waiting for your definition of who the 'oppressed' validating the actions of NFL anthem protesters are since you brought that up in your original post.

I don't think they will. You may see some join arms or something like that, but I don't think anybody will kneel. Maybe Kellen Moore, but that's it. Kellen hates America, the Dallas Cowboys, crisp passes, puppies, and himself so he's the wild card here.
I can handle the locking of arms, I actually think that's a powerful statement.
