Is it time to move Jones back to CB and start Woods at safety?

We are mis-using him as a box safety and he was forced to play slot CB tonight and his coverage was outstanding.

Byron Jones has done pretty much nothing in his time here. I am all for moving him although I don't expect much.

He does seem to make more plays at corner. Good showing by Woods too. Lewis getting better too.

Should have always been a CB. His size and athleticism suited him better for that position...safety requires a little more instincts. Time for the Heath/Woods Show

I think they want to see interceptions. I agree with you though. The guy consistently takes away an inside route every play.

He's just not a playmaker. He's not gonna rock guys over the middle, he's not gonna force fumbles, and he won't jump routes and get interceptions.

But he's a really good man cover guy.

been saying this for few weeks. Not nearly physical enough for safety and has needed length for CB.

agree this secondary is frustrating and a work in progress definitely need some help jones might be ok at corner with more help
