Do you have a feel for what round Jewell is projected?

Josey Jewell, ILB/OLB, Iowa
Height: 6-2. Weight: 230.
Projected 40 Time: 4.72.
Projected Round (2018): 3-4.
9/23/17: Jewell has 26 tackles with two sacks and two passes batted thus far in 2017.

9/1/17: Jewell recorded 124 tackles with six tackles for a loss, nine passes broken up and one forced fumble in 2016. He is a good run defender who will need to get stronger for the NFL and show more pass-coverage skills as senior. The NFL draft advisory board told Jewell he should return for his senior year rather than enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

In 2015, Jewell was a tough defender for Iowa as he racked up 126 tackles with 7.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, six passes broken up, one forced fumble and four interceptions. It was an impressive season from the Hawkeyes defender. If he stays consistent to his play-making production as a senior, his stock could really rise.

Low round pick........Nick DeLuca MLB NDSU 6'3" 245..........Will drop due to red shirt jr. season knee injury. Kid has instincts to the ball, speed at 4.55 to play 3 downs, size to play the run. Makes Nsoveko instincts look like a deer in the headlights...........

Jake Wieneke TE WR 6-4 #205

Crafty pass catcher has more than 100 receiving yards against each of his three FBS opponents (Missouri, Kansas and TCU). Through three seasons, he’s been the closest thing to Cooper Kupp with 223 receptions for 4,192 yards and 43 touchdowns. Has good size and uses it well against defenders

a late rounder

.......might drop further unless knee problems really clear up. Out for about 7 weeks with a menicus tear in the other knee at present. A great kid, never in conflict or trouble. Time will tell.

short term only hopefully..........might actually help him end up with a contender in the NFL long term who can have patience to get fully healed up, get body to NFL specs, and NFL speed.

You are going to get a real nice view of Cameron Smith in two weeks against ND.

ND has an OL loaded with potential NFL players and can run the ball. It will be interesting to see how Smith holds up in that game.
