It took Lee invading Maryland and Pennsylvania to really motivate the North but to say that the GOP who was founded on abolition and controlled Congress and the POTUS were not motivated to end slavery is just ignorant. We can review the history of the GOP if you like.

And we have been having record low murder rates for the past 30 or so years. Sure there are a few neighborhoods in Chicago and Milwaukee that are very big problems. They are awful ghettos but not an issue for the nation at large.

You can beg the question all you like but how about you tell us your explanation on why wages are lower for ghettos than they are for immigrants. I know where this is going because I know how people like you think and it would go along with your take on empancipation.
