You betcha. Yanks were lucky to win the division let alone going to another WS. Astro's are the new Kings of the AL & they're going to prove it by winning their first AL pennant to match their only NL pennant to go along with their first WS win. Count on it. Yanks are wishing the 'Stros never came to the AL. :muttley:

Now... the pressure is on the Astros!

I’m not so sure about that....

I think the pressure is on the yanks. They have to win every home game including beating Keuchel and Verlander.

If you really think about ... the Astros offense is silent.

Yankees 10 runs
Astros 4 runs and a gimme run from Betances

Astros are getting shut down.
Kuechel and Verlander can’t pitch every game, every inning.

Think about it?

I agree with this, I think the Astros are due though, maybe tomorrow.

True that but the Yanks still have to beat at least one of those two. Sure it's possible.

There were some gimme runs on the Yanks side also. They didn't exactly knock the cover off the ball but it is what it is.

GoStros!

We don’t necessarily have to beat one of those aces.

Just have to get them out of the game.

Then... get to bullpen.

After these 3 things happened, I knew it was fame over for the Stros....

1. The 3 run homer on a weak

2. Judge robs us of an extra base hit, if not a HR, with the catch on the wall.

3. Bases loaded and Correa pulls a Bill Doran and pops it up to the infield.

I knew the Yanks wouldn't go quietly, and CC really worried me. I hope the Stros got all their bad energy out of their system last night.

GO STROS

I'll put an end to this. I just put $100 on the Yankees to win today which gives them about a 90% chance at losing. Gray sucks but at leats they have a fresh bullpen.

FYI, also have a prop bet that no runs will be scored in the first inning. I've done this bet 4 times in the post season and each time a home run has been hit, I lost every f'in time. Did it again in the 5th? inning Sunday night, lost again on another home run. Do you know the f'in odds of that?

Maybe I'll actually win this bet since it's not even an 1/8th of what I normally bet.

Pretty much a hopeless situation when you load the bases with 0 outs...that might end it, although coming out of there allowing just 3 runs is probably as good as it gets.
