Yankees don't stop it's part of the heritage history culture whatever you want to call it. I love the Cowboy's but there is no franchise in American sports like the NY Yankees. The Celtics and Lakers are the closest. The NFL has like 4 or 5 great franchises in my book that all duel for the #1 spot.

Great Pitching beats great hitting more times then not. The reason the Yankees bats are cold is because they have faced really good starting pitching.

I would not say that the Yankees starting pitching has been more then adequate. I would say it's not even average. Now, the quality of the teams played are higher but even still, starting pitching has not been adequate and adequate, that's not going to win you a championship, IMO.

Some more “less than average”....”inadequate pitching” by the Yankees starters again tonight.

Tanaka

1-0 win

2-1 loss
6-0 win

Can I ask you a question, Floaty — why do you like that emoji so much?

He is on a 6-7 game winning streak since joing the ‘stros......

Due for a loss,

Did you see the look on his face during game 4 on the dugout stairs.....
(Looked like he was thinking... I got shipped to wrong team)

Heh heh

Seems like more crickets out tonight then nights last.....

I think I said that Tanaka was pretty much the best Starter the Yankees have had going in the Playoffs right? I get it, it's more convenient to ignore what I said rather then admit it's true.

Tanaka gives you 7 strong innings, Yankees are at home and able to get enough offense going. I feel as if this is exactly what I've been saying this entire discussion. The key will be Severino on Friday. Severino has to pitch better then he has thus far. Severino has been the best starter the Yankees have had this season, IMO. His outing against the Twins was horrible but he has good stuff. We have to get a great start out of him because Verlander is tough and double tough against the Yankees.

I hope I see the trend reverse in game 6 because that will mean a chance at another WS but if it doesn't, I hope you come back in here and tell me how right you are and how wrong I am again. We will see.
