Come to the conclusion we need to change things up offensively..

DAK needs to run more to keep the defense on it's heels more.

Last year and this year they have held him back.

But with the season on the line now..

him running more sounds like the newest weapon we could reveal.

I don't want him having 20 carries..

just run when the opportunity presents itself.

DAK was an excellent running in college.

When are we going to see it. ?

I said the same thing a couple weeks ago most people think he would get hurt but I would like to see him drop back and if something opens up just take off and run and that would help alleviate the pressure on him in the pass rush

Dak needs to hand the ball off to Zeke so Zeke could run more.

I think short yardage and goal to go situations would be good times to use a fake to Zeke and keep it if the end breaks down - like he did at Arizona for a TD - but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

I can see the need to see him take off a little bit more when the situation presents itself. There have been a handful of times I felt he could have, and should have run, and it would have been a bigger play then what they ended up with. But that's a feel thing for him, with the speed of the game, and that'll come to him more and more as he plays in the NFL.

I do think they need to move him around more, in terms of roll outs and such. He's not nearly as good a stand in the pocket guy as he is at moving around and creating. That's what he does best and they need to build and cater around that. JMO.

He's doing it a little more this season, which is great but yeah, I want more! Romo had zero speed...he could buy time in the pocket but he wasn't gaining more than a few yards on a run. Dak can at least pick up 5 yards if nothing is there. On 1st or 2nd down and long, give him the green light to turn it into a more manageable down by picking up a few yards.

Dak ran for 282 yards last season, he should at least be getting 350 yards a season. Rodgers ran for 369 and 344 the past two seasons.

The Cowboys have scored the following in the last 3 games:
28
30
31

Dak ran 3 times in each of the first 4 games and 4 times against the Packers.

I don't think Dak running more will help the defense.

Dak's backup is Kellen Moore...

I don't know if he needs to run more for the sake of running more but I do think the team needs to sprinkle in an option or two outside of the goal line. Just seems like the only time he runs by design is right up near the endzone. It's been working, but teams will start cheating on it and it will become a wasted that he takes an unnecessary hit on.

I have been saying this also but I think doesn't want the lane of being a running qb aka Kapernick. He wants to go thru his progressions
Understood..

If you watch his videos from college..

his running ability jumps out at you.

I think he does it just enough to surprise defenders, allowing him to take advantage. If it became a regular part of the offense, it won't be as effective.

How about the Defense helping out the Offense on occasion?

This Defense stinks. I don't want to hear another word about what the Offense needs to do. They're fine. Or they have been up to this point.

Thank God we have a bye this week.

At least we won't have to hear more pain and rage about how the Offense needs to protect the Defense because everyone knows how bad they stink.

I've been saying it for a while now that he needs to run more. Especially if we're going to pass on short yardage situations, him running needs to always be an option.

Craziness. There is absolutely no reason to feature something he has shown he is good at.
