What a great series!

The Yankees were amazing.

Almost beat TWO 100+ win teams.

The future looks bright!

Houston was tenacious. The five-game hitting slump they started the series with looked like a killer, but the bats finally woke up.

And things worked out on the pitching staff, so Keuchel and Verlander can go games 1 & 2, with the under-appreciated Charlie Morton in game 3.

Me too. Don't get me started what selig did to the astros in '08 during Ike when the astros were in the wild card race. It was just as big of a ***** move that the rangers made during Harvey.

First he moves milwaukee to the NL, then when he needs a team to move back, he chooses the Astros of all teams, instead of milwaukee.

I always hated the AL and the DH.....but mostly I hate that the 2 leagues have separate rules. That is so stupid, divisive, and busch league. Either both have the DH or both not....

But the crypt keeper can rot for all evil deeds he has done to my Astros.

Congrats to the Astros. I would have loved to have seen the Yankees pull it out but was not to be. I think the Yankees probably need to make a move in the off season and bring in another Starting Pitcher. I know everybody likes CC and I do too but honestly, I don't think he's the same guy. I think he's been good enough to be a Starter but not counted on as a 1st or 2nd Ace.

To me, this is the a story of pitching, plain and simple. The Astros got key pitching performances when they needed them and the Yankees didn't.

Nail on the head.

The Yankees need another quality starter.

I also think the 3B spot could be improved.

But overall the Yankees are in good shape and positioned to be a playoff contender for the next few seasons.
