We have been having a lot of problems on the line and I think a lot of it has to do with moving Collins over and having someone new at LG. It seems to me that we could fix two problems in one move by getting a new RT, so does anyone jump out at you as a guy we could pick up in the second and be game ready?

We have so many other needs, RT isn't one of them.

WR
CB
S

Those are the top 3 for me and another DL isn't far behind

So despite the cluster **** that was our game against Denver, La'el pretty much kept Von Miller from sniffing Prescott, until late in the 4th when all we were doing was passing, and all he was doing was trying to guess the snap count, which resulted in several offsides. Why do we need to replace him?

We already paid Collins to be the starter for the next 2 years after 2017. He's the starter.

I'm not sure why we don't have Collins playing guard where he excelled and Green playing RT. Green played T at a high level when Smith was out.

I don't think they trust Green at all, and probably view RT higher in importance than LG.
So, Collins, who has the talent and a better injury track record, at RT is a safer bet at being your RT for the year than Green.

I would not mind moving him back to OG and getting a good RT in the draft.

However I think we need to wait and see how he is doing by the end of the season.

He may pan out for us as the season goes on. Way too early to give up on him at RT right now.

Our team just choked at Denver and he was not the only person having troubles.

Also...in an ideal situation you want him and the OGs to pan out so we can focus on other areas.

I didn't see but some highlights of the game but he had a really nice play to spring Zeke on a TD where he initially helped double but then peeled off and took out the lone defender clogging the hole. I think Zeke even gave him the ball to spike for that block. I think Collins will be okay, I'm more worried about Green ruining th chemistry on the left side of the OL. That side of the OL has been bulldozing for the last few years with Leary and even when Collins plugged in, and now Tyron and Fred look meh by their standards. Hop fully they'll get the cohesion sorted out and get back to steamrolling.

I was what seemed like one of the few that wanted Collins to stay at OG but hes at RT now and hes better then i thought he would right out the gate. Have to give him some time. If anything we should draft a guard early and move green back to swing tackle for the remainder of his rookie contract

I think I'd be looking at speed rush end, DT or even WR in the first round if I had my druthers. Maybe a S.

But if the BPA there by a wide margin is an OL, I'd take one. Like if we pick in the 20s and Quentin Nelson is there, I take him and plug him in at LG and don't even worry about it.

A guy I have my eye on Chubb from NCSU. Stud DE.

Truthfully, the best RT in the draft will be Mike McGlinchey from Notre Dame, but some team will take him and try to make him a left tackle. He's played LT the last two seasons, but I don't think he's laterally quick enough to play there.

How bad did you think he was going to be? He's grading out as poor right now.

I left this after he teased us with solid games against both JPP and Vonn Miller. His play fell off quick & he needs to move back to Guard.

If we are picking in the late teens, and McGlinchey from ND is still sitting there................... I'd take him in a heartbeat and not even think twice. He goes to RT and is insurance against Smith and his injuries at LT. Collins goes back to LG.

Then we kick *** again.

Why RT why not going thinking BPA at RT or OG after rounds 1 and 2

Granted, if Cooper keeps playing like he has, we might not need that much help along the OL. I suspect Collins will eventually settle in at RT. Can take a swing tackle in the middle rounds.
