I think Sean Salisbury said it the best about the situation. He said you have to understand where you live and if he is fit for some teams. A lot of teams don't run the same system that Kap is use to and the ones that do already have qbs in place. Take it for what it is worth.

Here's my problem with the Vick comment. Vick did something which was clearly wrong, he served his time and in my opinion that made him eligible to work a job like any other citizen who does something illegal and serves their time for it. Kaep situation is different because he didn't do anything wrong. The only reason Vick was brought back was because of what he could do on the football field. I think it's safe to say that when Vick returned he was a better player than Kaep is today. Kaepernick just isn't good enough at this point to be a starter in the NFL. Does he have the talent and skills to be a backup on some team? Yes. Do teams want backup QB's to take any part of the spotlight from anyone else on the team? No. Kaepernick isn't in the NFL for the same reason that Tim Tebow isn't in the NFL. And at this point I'd say that Tebow showed more promise considering once Kaepernick fell off he looked done. Tebow was somewhat successful (even though it was in an unorthodox way) his last stint as a starting QB.

I agree with MOST of what you said. But Tim Tebow is TERRIBLE. Should have NEVER been a first round pick. Does not BELONG on the field of professional sports. He is a great high school/college athlete...as were 1000s of other kids over time. End of discussion

I'm not sure what you mean by normal, but a deposition is a big deal from anyone getting deposed.

Any statement given is on the record and could carry legal consequences. You don't just go in there and shoot the breeze, it's like testifying.

But it's to be expected in a case like this, is what I'm saying. It's not outrageous, and overall won't have much consequence if there's evidence of collusion.

And even as someone who isn't bothered by the Kaep hysteria, I don't believe there's collusion here.

I am not sure why anyone thinks there is collusion. We have had entire teams kneel for the anthem without a negative word from their owners. Why would they care about Kapernick?He might have had a case before all these guys started kneeling, but not now.

So again, what's the downside? He currently is not signed, the longer he is away from football, the less likely he will be signed. So what's the point in avoiding pissing off a bunch of billionaires who are already pissed?

Opening the flood gates for more of this crap? No thanks!! He'll then be back on the sidelines preaching/posturing with more cameras and media than ever following him araound. Coaches and teammates will have to answer more questions about him with more distractions. Keep him off the field. Collusion or not, he's not going to bring any team anything positive that I can see.

That was a rumor started by the Daily Caller citing an unnamed NFL source.

It was refuted by Kaepernick's agents.
